The color of the case was really nice and that’s the only reason for the 1 star. I tried to charge it when I received it with my Apple wall charger and it would not charge so I thought I had to put my phone in the case first..still wouldn’t charge. I then tried to charge it with my Apple car charger and it still wouldn’t charge.Maybe it was a defective case because I had ordered 2 in error and the other one came today.Plugged it in without my phone and it seems to be charging so hopefully I have better luck with this one.It does also add a little weight to the phone.The next day I received an email from the company asking to rate the item and saying if I was “100% happy” they would make it right..I replied quickly and have not heard back from them.

I think what sets this battery case apart from it’s more expensive competitor is that; it uses the lighting cable that you already have for your phone. So charging is now seemless. It also seems to provide all around better protection of your device if a drop does occur. The only downside I find is that the lighting cable is only for charging and doesn’t work for the new lighting cable headphones so if you do purchase this case make sure you have wireless headphones or are planning on purchasing some before you buy.

To charge, or not to charge - that is the question: Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer the drains of a phone used forth, or does one press thous button and charge thy iPhone. It shall be so. Greatness must not unwatch'd go.Ok, in all seriousness an awesome product. My iPhone 7 has relatively decent battery life, but at the end of a work day when I'm relying on the GPS to avoid traffic on the commute, the last thing I need is a dead phone. On nights when I've forgotten to plug my phone in, I can rely on simply letting the well designed case completely charge my phone while I'm in meetings. Thou would be a fool not to buy one.

Would not recommend.
Worked as described for roughly a day. I have tried multiple different charging cords and sometimes it charges just the phone and other times it charges just the case, never both together. It also doesn’t always charge the phone when you click the button. Also the button sticks out so it gets pressed all the time. Pretty much every time it goes in or comes out of your pocket.

My wife loved this charger case until the charge port no longer accepted the charger tip after two months which was after the 30 day warranty. I reached out to the company and they refunded the amount of the charger anyway. I immediately bought another one. Great service by the company!

This was one of my worst Amazon purchases
I just received my case yesterday in the mail and it does not work, I tried to cut it on but then the light immediately cuts off. This was one of my worst Amazon purchases.

DO NOT BUY ! I should’ve listened to the reviews but nooooo I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt ! Stopped charging after a couple days, won’t even turn on will not take a charge . Waste of money .
