The grinder is really good. Gets the rice and dal ground up very fine when making Dosa and the stones are staying in really good shape. Not super loud when running and was easy to setup out of the box. It is a work horse for sure.

I used the machine only twice and the middle piece detached, or unglued. I have been using this type of machine for years, as I have a small chocolate shop. I have never been as disappointed. I shipped it to Miami to then ship to Dominican Republic. The import process is never as easy and to use it only twice was very disappointing.

I purchased this item and upon testing noted this does not grind well . I had it run for one hour still the soaked rice did not become a paste. I returned the item and the seller took $29.85 as restocking fee which is unfair. Free shipping and free returns but how tricky the seller is giving partial refund.

I was a little scared purchasing this, never had any experience stone grinding food before, but my Dosa’s are absolutely perfect since I’ve been using it! Highly recommended!

Broke within 25 mins. The screw for the wheels is plastic and broke off.

The build quality is good, being a Prestige (TTK) brand. But have some practical issues 1) Every time you have to remove the drum the screw on top needs to removed. so if you are making idli or dosa dough, you will have do it twice once for dal and another time for rice. 2) The button is a mechanical timer switch, so if you have to stop in between you have to rotate the switch all the way back. 3) The top lid is not easy to remove when the grinder is running, no handle on the lid 4) somewhat noisy than my previous Ultra wet grinder. 5) Also the whole vertical setup is taller than a traditional grinder, so it will be uneasy for a shorter person to handle it. (Will need a step stool to see inside)
