We were getting constant static shocks from our cat, and read that conditioning sprays could help. This detangling spray smells nice and definitely reduces static - it doesn’t eliminate it completely, but it’s way better than constantly moistening his coat, since it lasts much longer without drying out. My cat has short hair, so I can’t speak about the detangling effect, but his coat feels silky smooth for a day after each use. Unfortunately, my cat hates it, both the sound of the pump and the scent. I would like to see an unscented version, maybe he’d tolerate it better.

My cat is getting older now and finds it difficult to wash certain parts of him. I have been using his Furminator which has been great but there’s a few parts that won’t work on. So, I purchased this to help with the process and it’s been a real game changer. I spray a bit on my hand and work it into the difficult spots. I now do this daily, so theres less build up, so avoiding the really hard clumps. Definitely recommend.

My first review was not accepted cos it breached Amazon standards 🙄🙄🙄. So start again. When opened the spray top leaks everywhere. Not sure about the perfume as it’s quite strong for cats to tolerate. Nice for humans though. My cat did not like the hiss hiss of the spray bottle. Can’t get near to my Ragdoll without her scramming, maiming and biting me now if she sees bottle. If I can gain her trust with it I will post an amended review in the future.

Bottom line: if your cat looks like a tumbleweed and sounds like a banshee when you try to brush them, this stuff might just save your sanity (and your arms).

Terrible product. It is very scented and my cat absolutely hated it. It didn't help the tangles and actually made things a lot worse. I had to rush my cat to the vet to get the matts off. I do not recommend.

Excellent product. My 18 year old cat's fur was becoming dull and matted, but after 2 sessions with this spray he looks sleek and shiny like he used to. He doesn't mind being sprayed with it and isn't bothered by the scent. In fact, the grooming has encouraged him to groom himself again.
