This was adorable, my niece really liked it.

We just got this for our 4 year old daughter for her birthday and she really likes it. She loves taking care of the pet rabbits and thinks it's cool how when you feed the mom her eyes blink. We have another pet alive as well and that one doesn't do this action so she really likes that the rabbit mom blinks. She also liked the water bottle feature. The only thing she didn't like was that once the babies drop out of the top you can no longer have them "hatch" and fall from the top. It's just a one time action unlike the other pet alive animals that you can have the babies "rehatch" from the top endless times. But overall this is a really fun toy for younger kids. It does come with a smaller plastic piece of celery so I would recommend for kids 4 or even 5 years old and up. The lid to the water bottle does fall off easily as well so it will likely get lost if a younger child is playing with it. But for price overall I would say this is a good toy.

This is a great gift for older toddlers that love animals. It’s a fun activity for you and your kid. You get the value out of the fun the toy brings. The quality is great and the cage can be used for other toys your child may have!

This is a cute "surprise" toy in concept. The price was right. IF it WORKED, it would be reasonable. However we followed the instructions and no babies were born. Waited three days. Went to pick it up to move it and the mechanism finally gave way - the babies were born due to the movement of the unit. My child lost interest almost immediately after we came to the conclusion it was not going to work. When they were "born" there was not any surprise (we had already found their hiding spot). I think it could be worth the amount they are asking as there is play value in the toys/cage in general. But ONLY if they fix the issues with the toy (we are not alone in our complaint!). Update: I updated to 3 stars as my child is using the cage for other purposes. There is play value, just wish the surprise part had worked for us!

Last year my daughters all received the Mama Surprise Guinea Pig. They loved it so much! When I saw these come out this year, I knew I had to get them it. They're really cute and are basically the same thing as the Guinea Pig, just smaller and way cheaper. I ordered three sets and two of them came with 3 babies, while the third set came with 4. I feel like that's decent and I'm glad none of them only got 2 babies or that would have been the end of the world🤦‍♀️ The set comes with little accessories you can put on the babies once their born, and my kids really enjoy doing that as well. This is a good gift for animal lovers, or for the kid who really wants a pet but you're just not ready for that type of commitment yet!

This Little Live Pets Mama Hamster is absolutely adorable and has been a huge hit with my 7-year-old!. The interactive play is endless, and it even has babies that pop out, which totally cracked her up! It’s like having a tiny hamster family without the cage cleaning.
