Grandson loves choosing the right number every day. His collection of schleich products is quite significant at only 4 years old. Schleich delivers detailed safe and fun figures.

The contents of this advent calendar are mostly great. There are a few days that are just a small pile of vegetables; one of these would make sense, but there's too many. One of the animals is way out of scale and appears to be from a different Schleich line entirely. Otherwise, everything's great. Good, high-quality toys.The problem is that the main picture -- the place where you open the little doors -- clearly shows every single item in the set. If you want to maintain the surprise, you're going to have to open the calendar in advance and transfer everything into another calendar. This may be challenging, as three of the items are sizable. The "string of bags" style calendar or something with big drawers may be the best option here.Alternatively, you could just paint the front in some festive way (red and green or blue and white or black and red and green or colors I don't know offhand) and write the numbers back in by hand. Or just divide everything into eight piles, put them all into little gift bags, and give them for Hanukkah.

It's a nice advent calendar for the money. The pieces are very good quality. My 10 year old daughter loved it.

The Schleich advent calendar is nice. Unfortunately, we ordered the horse one and received the farm one with cow.We didn’t have time to return because she wanted to open the one per day during December.

Got it on sale for about $18, good quality for that price. My daughter enjoyed opening all the doors, the pieces were a good addition to add to the barn we bought her.

Had it in cart for ages because I couldn't justify how expensive it was (+$50) for what it is - as soon as it dropped below $30 I decided price was fair so it didn't come til a week into December, but my daughter just popped a few extra at the beginning to catch it up. She has really enjoyed it so far - my only negative I'd say is the cat.... doesn't seem to be at all proportional to the rest of the set. Seems like it's almost the size of the calf?! 😒 🤔
