Hi there, Just wanted to say that no other oil can match the quality of Castrol 75w90. So far I have done 60000 miles and when I have checked the colour of oil, it was clear and not sticky (stickiness usually caused due to impurities and overheating). In my case it seems that the oil has had a good specific heat capacity and so it kept gearbox cool by disappointing the heat away. it is also worth to say that primary its function is to lubricate, and it does the job at its best.I recommend Castrol 75w90 for sport cars as well as for small ones :) .Cheers,Mario.

Big improvement
Delivered as promised! Made a big difference to my gearbox on my V8 lotus esprit as it was grinding the syncro's when moving at high revs up the gears

Not what I was expecting from Castrol
After replacing my old oil with this, I had issues with the syncos and gear changing being tight, also the transaxle becoming very noisy on long runs?! I had to use an oil stabiliser to get any sense out of changing gear, I can only assume the oil was foaming.I will be replacing as soon as possibleI wouldn't use again, an expensive test of a new oil.
