Pros: Great tank. Very clever design. Fits well in the fridge & easy to top up with water in situ. Capacity is excellent. As you fill it you're wondering how on earth its taking so much water to fill the thing. 8 litres full give or take. 5 litres filtered & 3 litres un-filtered. As you draw filtered water out of the tap at the bottom, water is funnelled from the top section down and through the filter to replace it. Smart design. You can just keep topping up the top section with fresh tap water now and again as you use it. Smart bit of design. Tap assembly is simple but works fine. No leaks. The filtered water is very tasty. Noticeable straight away in the first cup of coffee. Cons: Two main ones really, both concerning the consumable filter cartridges. First, they are too expensive. That's the scam though, right? Like multi-blade razors, or printer cartridges. You have no option but to keep buying expensive replacements. Secondly, recycling plastics is a bad solution to a problem which does not need to exist. There easily could, and definitely should be a more cost-effective & greener solution to filter media replacement. A bit disappointing because the rest of the design of this tank is so good and well thought out. But Brita use the same filter carts in all of their products and no doubt are raking it in, so I doubt their approach will change any time soon. As consumers we just wait for the new and improved version with yet more blades, rubber fins & soothing gel strips at both ends.

I hated the Brita jugs because they needed constant refilling everytime you used it and I live on my own, have no idea how families cope with the jug. This Brita tank was the answer to my hard water problem here in London. The water taste is is great and very noticeable improvement. Your kettle will thank you. Your plants will thank you and your furry babies will thank you.

Great buy! No more bottled water. Very happy with this purchase. Water tastes cleaner, helping so much with hydration for me and my daughter. A big tank though, I had to remove a shelf in my fridge to fit it in… but totally worth it.

Nous utilisons cette carafe filtrante BRITA au quotidien et nous en sommes vraiment très satisfaits. La grande capacité est très pratique pour une utilisation familiale et permet d'avoir toujours de l'eau filtrée à disposition. L'eau a un meilleur goût et nous n'avons plus besoin d'acheter des packs de bouteilles en plastique. Au-delà du confort, c'est aussi une vraie source d'économies. Depuis que nous l'utilisons, nous avons considérablement réduit nos achats d'eau en bouteille, ce qui est appréciable aussi bien pour le budget que pour la réduction des déchets plastiques. Le remplacement de la cartouche est simple, le système de filtration fonctionne parfaitement et le réservoir est facile à remplir. Après plusieurs mois d'utilisation, nous sommes toujours aussi convaincus. Si vous souhaitez améliorer le goût de votre eau du robinet tout en réalisant de vraies économies, je recommande ce système BRITA sans hésiter.

Bien plus pratique que des modèles plus petit, surtout pour une grande famille. Filtre assez rapidement et l'eau a plutot bon gout

Very good! It's the largest I could find, works well. Needs to have something to lift it up or it has to be place near the border of a piece of furniture, so you can use the faucet. I wish they made a much larger version with 20L (on top, that you can fill up at once without waiting, maybe another 2L below for the already filtered portion and a tall foot that allows for you to collect the water comfortably with a tall glass or small bottle.
