This is an excellent product that works great in my hair and provides lasting control without the greasy look that many pomades leave behind. I especially like that it applies well to dry hair, which makes styling in the mornings much quicker and easier. It’s versatile enough to work well in both my thick, curly hair and my son’s thin, straight hair. A little goes a long way, and the finish looks natural without feeling heavy or sticky.

Over the years I've worked my way through mousse, gel, pomade, wax, paste, and various other substances that promised to transform me into a more attractive version of myself. The search continues. This fiber cream strikes a nice balance. It provides enough hold to keep things under control without making my hair feel like a construction project. It also avoids the wet, shiny look that can make a grown man resemble a used car salesman from 1987. At this point in life, my goals are modest. I'm not trying to look like a movie star. I'm simply trying to avoid going full Brylcreem. So far, this is helping.

This is great product. It makes me feel like i'm using something high quality and good for my hair, while still being effective.

I've been using American Crew Forming Cream (in the green jar) for years and recently decided to give Fiber Cream a try. I like Forming Cream because it leaves my hair feeling soft and imparts a subtle shine, but it's also not the strongest hold, and many days I'd have to add a layer of hairspray on top of the Forming Cream to get my hair to stay in place. Fiber Cream seems to be the answer for those who need a slightly stronger hold than Forming Cream but don't want to go in the direction of a hard-hold, high-shine gel or pomade. It's important for Forming Cream users to understand that you only need to use about half the amount of Fiber Cream. If you make the mistake I initially made -- using the same amount of Fiber Cream that you'd typically use with Forming Cream -- then you'll be left with a very stiff, crispy head of hair. A very small amount of Fiber Cream goes a long way. I nearly returned my tube of Fiber Cream because of this mistake, but decided to give it a second try and am glad I did. Fiber Cream seems to give me the typical look I'd get with Forming Cream, with a better all-day hold. Going forward, I plan to use both products at different times: Fiber Cream for workdays and dressier occasions, and Forming Cream on weekends or casual days. I'm glad to see American Crew offering both products.

I really enjoy using this product on my hair. It doesn't feel greasy, it only feels very full. I like to slick my hair back and I have very strong hair.

It works although it is sticky. You have to wash your hands after you apply or you will have sticky hands. Probably won't buy again.

Ich habe aufgrund von zunehmender Haarlänge (ca. 10-15cm, gerades dichtes Haar) nach einem neuen Haarprodukt gesucht, weil meine vorherige Routine (mattes Clay - Strandmatte) einfach nicht mehr funktioniert hat. Dazu habe ich unterschiedliche Alternativen bestellt und die Fiber Cream ist eine jener Alternativen, die für mich und meinen Haartyp gut funktioniert. Der Halt ist gut, man braucht wirklich nicht viel davon und das Produkt lässt sich gut auswaschen. Ist man sportlich aktiv und schwitzt (oder die Haare werden nass), wird die Fiber cream weich, wie man es eher von klassischen Haargel‘s kennt. Trocknet das Haar wieder, lassen sie sich aber auch wieder relativ gut stylen, auch das finde ich positiv. Was einem aber bewusst sein muss, von der Optik und dem Gefühl, wenn man durch die Haare fährt, ist es ein bisschen wie eine Mischung aus Gel und Wachs - weiß nicht wie ich das anders beschreiben könnt. Der Style ist also flexibel, nicht starr, dennoch merkt man das die Haare vereinzelt etwas „härter“ werden, allerdings definitiv nicht so wie bei einem traditionellen Gel, der Look wirkt also trotzdem noch relativ natürlich und hat keinen auffälligen Glanz oder dergleichen. Es ist aber auch nicht mehr ganz so ein natürlich/weich/geschmeidiges Gefühl wie bei so manchem Haarwachs. Weiterer Pluspunkt für mich - kein klebriges Gefühl in den Händen wenn man immer mal wieder durch die Haare fährt. Ich würde das Produkt dementsprechend erst Mal weiterempfehlen, weil guter Halt - ergiebig - gut auswaschbar.
