Decent knife. Feels good in the hand and is Sharp out of the box but not sure how long the blade will last. Great to have in case you need it.

Received the knife today and put it through some tasks during the day. The sheaths must of been upgraded, or at least mine was as it it secure in any position, won’t budge. It’s also soft but not flimsy. Knife geometry is nice, sharp out of the box. I stripped it a few times and it slid through paper without any effort. The thickness is about that of your basic craft line mora, great for “camp” or EDC tasks. All in all it’s a great value.

I bought this BeaverCraft knife in February for around $45 and I’m honestly disappointed with how poorly it has held up. After only a short amount of normal use and proper storage in the included sheath, the blade already has significant rust spots and corrosion. I expected much better steel quality and finish for the price. The knife itself feels decent in the hand, but durability is clearly lacking. A knife marketed for outdoor/craft use shouldn’t start rusting this quickly under basic care. The photos speak for themselves. Would not purchase again, especially at this price point.

The knife is well made, I do wish the sheath would hold the knife more securely though.

Awesome knife! Super sharp out of the box, holds edge well. Comfortable grip (the handle is a little big for smaller hands, but still easy to control). Nice sheath with belt loop. Great for carving or everyday carry. My husband uses it daily. Hugely recommended

Vorweg: hatte ebenfalls die einschlägigen Berichte auf YT gesehen und war echt (an)gespannt - hatte aber wohl Glück und ein Freitagsmodell erwischt. Messer sitzt bombenfest in der Scheide, die Schrauben sind plan mit den Griffschalen und die Schneide ist von Anfang bis Ende sauscharf. Selbst die Griffschalen waren besser verarbeitet als erwartet und standen nur sehr leicht über den Erl (100x besser als umgekehrt). Bisschen nachschleifen und in Leinöl kochen geht aber immer. Durchweg positiv überrascht!

Everything about this knife met my checklist. Blade geometry (for slicing), comfortably rounded wooden handle, size, weight, great sheath, etc. Not sure if I got an unfinished version, but the two hex screws on either side of the handle that hold it in place are not mounted flush to the wooden handle. Instead they were protruding out (surface mounted), as if the manufacturing step that would drill out the inset into the wood was missed. Consequently the handle is uncomfortable to hold because there are two steel bumps digging into your grip. Having a good look at the stock pictures on amazon, these screws should be inset, but weren't. Maybe others have a better finished version of this knife, but unfortunately I am going to return the one I got.
