A similar unit like this I used for over a year, the ball support broke. Not sure if this will suffer the same date, as maybe the old unit cracked in a bike fall or it was a mfg defect.This one did come with a spare rubber attachment in black to replace the color one. I kind of like the color piece as I can quickly tell my phone is still securely attached to the holder.

It's a great mount, holds the phone very well. The only reason I gave it three stars is because I ordered black and got red.

very happy with this mount so far. the silicone straps are easy to put on and off, and even kept my larger phone (moto x with case) secure during a bike crash. my only complaint is that i wish the mount to the handle bar would tighten down further, as larger bumps slightly misaligned the phone a bit. great product for the price

Product snapped and broke into two pieces dropping my phone to the pavement. Normal ride, nothing intense or crazy. If you like your phone don’t buy this. Plus, it’s one month outside of the return period.....only three months old.

Used it for about 15 rough mountain bike rides before it snapped in half. Used it in the rough mountains around Phoenix and Moab. Im pretty impressed that it lasted as long as it did, but, being made of plastic, it eventually broke on a rough section of trail. If you have smooth trails or are street riding it should hold up just fine.

Works pretty well. Phone will tip a little when you hit bumps. The mounting bracket is kind of cheapy plastic but seams to work fine. The spring loaded clamp and rubber hold phone great
