Heavy Duty Magnets for Treasure Hunters 2600lb Pull Force Double Sided Neodymium Fishing Magnet kit with Rope and Carabiner

After watching "Dryer Vent Brush stuck. Easy removal method By Nick's Handyman Services" on YouTube, I purchased this magnet. I pulled the rope through a ten foot 1 1/2 inch PVC pipe I had laying around and attached the magnet at the end with the provided loop and some Gorilla tape for extra security. It made a stiff rod to push into a straight dryer vent section and in a matter of a minute stuck itself to the ferrous end of my remaining rod and pulled it right back out.

Great product , I would buy another for a gift .

Lets start with the positives. the 50 foot rope is of very high quality. Now for the negatives. The hook is small, like less than 6 inches from point to point. The biggest problem is the claim of 700lbs. Maybe it was meant as a joke but, this magnet only picks up from the very bottom center of what appears to be a pretty good size magnet. I tried several times to pick up an 8 ounce object but when trying to swing the item to shore, it fell off. Anything heaver than 8 ounces and it wont even try to pick it up. this is soooo far from the claim of 700 lbs. they should be ashamed to put it in print. Do NOT purchase this kit. You can find the rope much cheaper at your local hardware store. The rest of it is junk.

As seen in the picture the product is well packaged but the bottle of thread locker is missing from the kit. I cannot safely use the magnet without the risk of the eyebolt loosening up and losing my new magnet. I would hope someone from RIHEGIANT does read this and can send me a bottle so I can use their product.

Was gonna send back but read that it works best from bridges straight down to water. Not recommend for dragging.

Good magnet. Plenty of line! I’ve been out through some local creeks and rivers, including some of our shoreline on Lake Michigan. (Search for “magnet fishing beaver island) and you’ll see me at the mouth of a river using this item.Grappling Hook however, I wouldn’t trust. Not sure what I’m going to use it for, but will be trying this particular magnet again tomorrow out in our harbor.
