HR Grip Specialty Kit Car Air Vent Mount Holder for iPhone 5S/5C/5/4S/4, Samsung Galaxy S5/S4/S3, most 5" Smartphones and MP3 Players

I worked very well on my Escape on the vents. My only compaint woudl be that I can not angle the unit to better face me from the center of the dash. Depening on where the vents are in you car this would really make the unit better. Just needs to have a few positions to change angle.

I've used this mount for about 6 months.Installation was simple and took about 30 seconds.One piece on the side and one piece on the bottom broke almost immediately after installing the mount. However, the mount is still functional.It is difficult to get out of your air vent after it has been installed - be careful!

Ive had a few car vent holders and this one is very well made and easy to install. Only problem is I have an Iphone 4sand the sides dont adjust evenly so they phone doesnt line up for the charger. Would work better with the Iphone 5.

This is nice because it works with my iPhone 5 in an otter box. The feet on the bottom are adjustable. I just wish that it swiveled so I could turn the phone to face me a little bit more.

Installed in my 2009 Toyota Tacoma while I was driving for Lyft. It held the phone securely but also released quickly and easily to allow me to access the phone any time. The only negatives I experienced was that it fully blocked my vent, (not a huge deal, and one I had anticipated) and it was a bit of a pain to remove. This is not a device you would want to install and remove daily, as it seems the only way to remove it from the vents is to get a flat bladed object in between the vents and pry the tongs apart. Still, it securely holds the iphone and windows phone I have used and the sliding supports on the bottom allow me to access the various ports without much trouble.

The angle wasn't right for my 2011 mazda 3. Pieces broke off like the outside glue holding the hard plastic after a few months. I'm also having difficulty taking the product off my air vent. Anyone have advice?

After trying several holders since getting my iPhone 5, I finally found one that works. Others would either drop the phone, block my radio, block the audio output or power input jacks, or fall off the dash/windshield. The only downside is I only have 4 small vents in front and this completely blocks one of them. But it makes my phone easy to reach and holds it in place. Both inserting and removing the phone is a one-handed operation and the bottom feet are fully adjustible so I can have my audio output jack and phone charger both plugged in at the same time and still have the feet hold the phone in place. But I wish this came in a magnetic version.

I tried to mount it on my plastic vents in my van and it broke one slats off. Got it on and couldn't get it off.
