anybody use this on 13th gen yet ?

Hi this frame can use on 13th gen.

What screws (eu size) do i need for z790 motherboards with 10 layers? as included ones seem too short.

The screws you use are the ones you had with the factory ILM of your motherboard. This is only meant to replace the spring-tension system part of the CPU's securing mechanism. You still use the backplane and screws that came with the ILM of your motherboard.

What if I have had my 12700k on my mobo a little less than a year now, will it still be alright to try and use this now?

Yes, and I would highly recommend it. My temps dropped quite a lot. A year is a good time to replace the thermal paste also.

How is it different from the $3 cheaper one at https://www.amazon.com/thermalright-generation-anti-bending-correction-installation/dp?

The only difference I can detect is the color. Some buyers may prefer the OG, which is black. It is the same frame so the price differential isn't due to the design.
