Main Brush Motors for Ecovacs DEEBOT OZMO Yeedi T8 T9 T9+/T8 AIVI/T8/N8 Pro/N8 Pro plus/N8/N8+/920/950/T5/N7/X1/T10 DVX34 DX9G Series Robot Vacuums

Have an Ecovac Deebot N8+, this motor fit perfectly. The wiring was exactly the same length and blue, red color wire. I did see where someone in comments said these where used. I opened the gearbox up and did see a little black grease around brush drive gear (gear looked new). All the other gears look new with clean grease. Looked like it was tested to me. Ran the vacuum for about 2 hours so far and motor is still working.

I just replaced this tonight, my old main brush motor failed. After taking it short I can see why, the old gear box lubricant has gotten time off sure and grime in it over 3 years Kind of a pain to remove the main board to screen the old main brush motor to remove, but that is just the design of the vacuum. Perfect for and this plus the new side brush motor means I didn't have to spend hundreds on a new vacuum. Very happy was an exact match to the one I pulled out of my n8 plus

Bought and replaced the old one. This motor works great but is not as quiet as the original one. Fully recommended. Took about 3 hours to learn and fix it together.

Broke exactly 1 year of use. Bad longevity

Following one of the many how-to videos and a dedicating a few hours and a screwdriver, my deebot is no longer saying the 'main brush is tangled' and works good as new again. Very pleased with this fix being available.

Like other people have mentioned, mine was also used and one of the gears was stripped. It comes in a very nice box and looks amazingly clean on the outside, but when I opened the gearbox I had the same dirt mixed with someone else's hairs and grease. I knew this was going to be the case and it took half an hour to completely disassemble and clean properly with a strong degreaser, but what I did not count on was that the small gear attached to the motor shaft was completely stripped down to a plastic cylinder. If I had used it as is it would not have even worked. I did manage to build a working unit using the best parts of my and this used unit, but you should beware that there is no guarantee that the gears will be functional inside the gearbox.

Ripped my Deebot apart, installed this and it worked. I only had 1 screw leftover when I assembled it back! This was due that I broke a plastic thread which was insignificant in the overall construction. There is a youtube video that quickly ran through how to get to this motor. The one that failed on my deebot had a stripped Nylon pinion gear on the motor side (Dog hair got into it, I'm assuming if I cleaned my deebot in more detail I may have prevented it, but then I wouldn't have had the fun of fixing it :)

After ruling out everything else, my brush would start/stop and eventually report as a tangle. Tried a new main brush, etc. Eventually I decided to dismantle the whole thing following a YouTube video to check the gears out. Found some crud, cleaned, greased and put it back together. Same problem. Figured it had to be the motor itself, so I purchased this and did it one more time. Presto! Everything works perfectly now. Perfect fit and came with the identical setup as the original motor. Note that if someone is considering doing this, there are LOTS of parts to remove to get to it. Definitely watch that video before attempting this.

Used motor. I received the motor and it wasn’t new it was a used motor. Returned immediately. Such a scam. It was full of hair and dirt.
