Grace Company 45 mm My Comfort Rotary Cutter

The trucut comfort cutter is exactly that. I have two sizes and each has just as much merit as the other. What a blessing with limp or arthritic hands, could also recommend as a preventative tool, looking after your wrist by allow you to use it in your own unique style. It is so much nicer to grip than a straight cutter and should really be used with the trucut ruler, as it has a grove the rubber strip on the cutter fits into, though I find it works as well with the usual rulers. You can personlise the handle too, which is a little extra quirk. kind of nice to make a set all the same.

First time I've used a rotary cutter, I was recommended this brand and I'm not disappointed. I also purchased the ruler guide and this is a huge help in straight cuts, I've been cuttin out masks with a curved edge and the rotary cutting made it easy with a good clean cut, a bit if practice first on scrap fabric to get the feel of it and placement of blade for curves and quickly got to grips with it.

this cutter is great it just glides through the material and so comfortable to hold, I didnt have to press down hard to use it unlike other cutters I have used in the past... well worth the money

worth every penny.. had prev. bought a cheaper one........ USELESS. . I've arthritis & frozen shoulder & couldn't cope at all, but this used with the rule measure which has a groove that the cutter works with, produce an effortless accurate cut !!!! I can look forward to making patchworks that go to dog & animal rescue auctions. Happy customer. THANK YOU

This is a great design as far as reducing strain on your hands goes. It cuts very easily and cleanly with very little effort, and didn't slip on either very fine jersey or thick machine knitted wool. However, the guard in front of the blade means you cant actually see where it is cutting at all. The straight blades are hard to see into a tight corner, but this doesn't show you any stage of the cutting. Now maybe you are supposed to line up the line on the clear ring whilst standing, but I cant stand for long, so cut sitting if at all possible. That said it isn't that far out, and maybe I am just being too picky, so am still giving it four stars for ease of use. Just maybe not the best for intricate patchwork or detail.

Great cutter seems to work extremely well according to my wife, and used with the true cut rulers which I also purchased the work very well as a package. The cutter was as discribed, arrived in specified time and was packed well enough for item protection.

This cutter came with an extremely blunt blade from new, in fact it wouldn't even cut through the material at all, after fitting a blade of our own, which we keep as a spare, it did cut quite well. This cutter seems as if it has been made to tempt you into buying all new templates (with the special guide) and is not that comfortable at using with normal templates, but we are going to try and remove the guide wheel to see if this improves the experience. Because your hand is over the cutter and much closer to the work, it is more difficult to see where you are cutting, which is possibly why they need a guide on the template. Overall it's not as good as the adverts made us believe.

I have tried several different cutters over the years and with hand issues this one is now the only one I use or recommend. -It came in well packaged and in perfect shape. -It is very well made and super sturdy. I have dropped it many times over the years even on the concrete and where others have cracked or even shattered this one is no worse of the wear. -The included blade lasted so much longer than others I have used. Although when you finally do need to change the blade it is much easier to do so with this handle. -When they advertise “effortless use” they are not kidding, it is super smooth and easy to lock and unlock one handed. I have had many others that are way too hard to do, which is actually why my husband found this one for me so long ago. -Unlike most other cutters it fits into the track of any slotted ruler with no issue or catching. -If you are looking to find a comfortable, long lasting, super durable cutter look no further. I got mine over 7 years ago and it is still working like new. I have quite a bit of hand issues and I try not to let that keep me from doing what I love and thankfully the angle and comfort of the cutter has definitely made this possible. Thank you for making an awesome product in an age where that is more rare.
