Levy's MSS1-BLK Veg Tan Leather Guitar Strap - Black

I first bought one of these guitar straps over 20 years ago, and it has worn exceptionally well. Supple and oh so comfortable. Recently purchased a couple more. Bear in mind, the guitar fixings are through leather and fit snuggly - but if persistently removed and replaced they tend to open up and stability is a problem. Because the strap is wide it is really only suitable for a pretty heavy axe, but if your Les Paul or Strat is 8 or 9 lbs then this is an excellent option.

Are you a middle-aged or old guitarist? Got a back or shoulder which aches sometimes due to years of playing standing up? Get a strap like this one by Levy's and you will no longer ache or at least you will not ache so much. Admit it, you have grey in your hair, and it hurts to bend over at times. Sound familiar? Then you need this product or are condemned to a life of pickin' whilst sitting down.

Great sending and and very nice. Only trouble is that the strap wasn't quite as nice as I thought it would be, but all in all it is still a fine piece.

Needed a quality guitar strap in a burgundy slash cherry colour for a new Gretsch 5220 in deep cherry metallic. It needed to support a traditionally heavy, mahogany Les Paul style guitar. Found this, took a punt, and love it👍 All boxes ticked😍

Great product, very comfy to ware. Good quality leather and sits on the shoulder well, does not dig into your shoulder.Its a bit expensive, but well worth it, if you do a lot of gigs you need comfort and the security that you Bass is not going to come adrift from your strap.

Super comfortable, when I put my (admittedly light) bass on it barely feels like there’s any weight at all! Great weight distribution.

Levy guitar straps deliver a product that complements what it is strapped to and very comfortable on the shoulder over long periods. Mine is the 3" model hook to a Washburn HB35.

El strap es excelente, tal como dicen otros compradores NO tiene el ancho mencionado, tiene 3 pulgadas y un cuarto de ancho total; en mi caso es un ancho adecuado de cualquier manera. En lo que me parece que no tienen razón es en la longitud, lo uso en un bajo y tuve que usar una configuración de las más cortas con buen resultado, es decir, alcanza a dar mayor longitud hasta una posición bastante cómoda ; claro, si lo que buscas es que el instrumento te llegue a las rodillas, no te dará esa longitud (ni siquiera a la altura que muestra el guitarrista de la foto).Excelente producto con un look discreto.Por otra parte, GRAN DECEPCIÓN DEL ENVÍO. AMAZON debería cuidar que la gente encargada de ello supiera la manera adecuada de tratar este tipo de productos, lo empaquetan doblado!!! Por consecuencia me llegó con un doblez que dejó marcada la piel y un segundo doblez que de plano rompió el acolchonado interno. Es incomprensible que cuando envían un par de pilas lo empaquetan en una caja excesivamente grande en proporción, y que para un strap de piel cuya naturaleza requiere ir ENROLLADO como un cinturón, lo envíen en un sobre, y para que quepa lo tengan que doblar como si fuera de tela. PÉSIMA calificación de AMAZON en ese rubro.

This is beautifully constructed guitar strap that works well with my Gibson ES-335 and is easily the nicest strap that I own. My Gibson balances nicely with this strap and the padding makes it very comfortable when standing for extended periods of time. Also, it's a visually beautiful strap.Given the thickness of the strap, it is difficult to get it to fit over the strap pins of a Fender Stratocaster or once on, plan on leaving it on. Better to go with a soft all garment leather strap if you want with padding as it will more easily fit over the strap pins. This strap also works well with an acoustic, but again an all garment leather strap is better and more easily fits over the strap pins and you don't need the padding of the MSS1.Shop around before purchasing this strap from Amazon.ca. The retail price is CDN $85.99 + HST plus $7.81 shipping if purchased from a store like Cosmomusic.ca or Long & McQuade. I was in the market for a really good strap. I have always liked how leather looks and wears so I started hunting for a good leather guitar strap. I had a hard time making up my mind between 2, this one and another brand that was $10 cheaper and also had good reviews. So I ordered them both. When this one came I was deeply impressed with its softness and the quality of construction. In one word, it is unbelievable. I connected it to my best electric guitar and after a little length adjustment I am in heaven. I was so pleased with myself for choosing such a nice strap that I anxiously awaited the arrival of the other strap I ordered. It was only after the second strap came that I truly began to appreciate the Levy's quality difference. The other strap is ok. Probably better than the cheaper ones I have owned in the past. But when compared to the Levy's, it is dismally inferior.I have become a Levy's man. Not only am I not disappointed in spending the extra $10, I am surprised that it was only $10 more than its competitor.Its a beautiful thing.

This is a high quality strap. It is well constructed. The leather has a nice look and "feel" to it and the sewn-in pad makes it easy on the shoulder/neck area. The neck area of the human unit, not the neck area of the guitar, although, that too. I am a pretty big guy and it fits just fine. I had to adjust it to the max setting but it is a comfortable fit. I am not a professional musician, I do not have a lot of experience with guitar straps but I like this item.
