No good
The pliers are spaced to far apart, and won't open a snap ring. Complete trash.

Don't leave home without them
I have multiple pair of these pliers; in each tackle box and a pair for the boat. They are very sturdy and versatile. Additionally, they don't rust and, therefore, don't stain! There are absolutely no issues with cutting braid, mono, or flouro lines of any size.They are smaller than traditional pliers, but they fit well in your hand. The size actually comes in handy when tying leaders, lures, etc.My only wish is that they add/include a lanyard. Unfortunately, I have lost a pair to the deep blue.

Lightweight, one hand operation, good grip, very effective tool.
I do a lot of bank fishing. Weight matters and these are very very light @ 3.3 ounces. I have used them to remove trebles, cut braid and other lines, remove rings to change hooks. My only complaint is they are just a bit too short for the deeper hooks. If the nose was even 1/2" longer it would make a big difference. I have been able to remove everything however it takes longer due to the nose being short. I love these pliers though. They are tough and easy to use. The lock is easy to move with one hand while holding a fish in the other. They have a great grip even when a bit of slime is present. I would say increase the weight to 4 ounces and make them that much longer would make these a 5 star set of pliers. I do recommend them and I would buy another pair.

Never knew these existed, or that I needed one
Saw it on a search for stainless pliers by CUDA at lowest price. Had never seen them before but at a price under $14 I took a gamble and love it. Great for tiny rings instead of risking injury using a knife/box cutter blade.

Can’t open a split ring
How can you advertise these as split ring pliers when you cant open a split ring with them? Thought I hot a defective pair at first but after reading other reviews its a defective design. Waste of my time, correct how you market these please…NOT FOR SPLIT RINGS!

Simply Great
These are the most sturdy fishing pliers that I have ever used. The value for the money is incredible. I've used them consistently for several weeks now and have had any problems. They are compact and have a sure grip that allows you to use their even if your hands are wet. In short...they are awesome.
