Just purchased the Westinghouse iGen5000DFcv, duel fuel generator to power our RV when full hookups are not available. Our RV is a 50amp unit so obviously I had to use the 50amp to 30amp adapter and it worked perfectly. On my first use, I powered up the "ducted" AC in the RV, turned on all interior and exterior lights and the generator showed using 25% of the available power. It's a little heavy but one person can manage moving it around as needed. I really love the duel fuel aspect because I simply hook it up to the RV's propane quick connect and I'm ready to go. This particular unit does not have electric start but it started on the second pull "out of the box". I highly recommend this unit.

Very affordable and quiet And fuel efficient,

I hooked up the propane assembly to run on propane. The engine started after about three pulls. I opted for the pull start, it pulls pretty easy. I saved money over electric start model. I also wanted to save weight. I have run for the five hour break in period, and used various items for load. I highly recommend this product.

Initial start up and test went well, fired up quickly. It's a quiet generator for this size imo, feels fairly well built but mine had a body flaw. The front control face plate has about an 1/8 inch gap in it at the top which shouldn't be but I'm going to deal with it as the return process with AMZ will require way too much effort compaired to the actual problem. Otherwise, so far so good.

One of the best generator I have owned, I use this mostly for my camper and it is so quiet you will sleep like a bay, ran for 3 1/2 days on a 100 pound propane tank.

This generator has a "whopping" 31 hours of run time since it was bought. before the season starts I did an oil change and the oil was filled for metal shavings (THIRTY ONE hours TOTAL). I replace the oil and spark plug but the generator would not work properly, it would rev up, shut down with the rec "overload" like blinking (Nothing plugged in). I put back the original spark plug and there was no difference, I reached out to the "support" It took 5 emails just to get to the "we need you serial number" and yet another one to tell me to register for the warranty. Now I have to find an authorized service provider that Westinghouse will allow to work on this POS. Instead of taking accountability and trying to help find a solution, the "support" is send me on my own and hoping I'd give up. If I saw this review before buying, I'd buy something else and so should you.
