Looks great - Need ground connection..
Overall a great purchase and easy to install. If you buy this and plan to install it in a Jeep, here are some items you will want to consider purchasing if you haven't already:1. 4 1/2" hole saw (or something to cut the large hole in your vehicle)2. At least six sheet metal scews (i used either #5 or #6 can't remember) to screw the LED light to the body. (pre-drill the holes accordingly)3. Reverse lights (I replaced my YJ's old boxy style that had reverse lights built in).4. Highly recommend some type of paint to inhibit rust around the large hole you just created in your body.Pro's - light weight, simple design. Easy to install. Looks amazing because it's different from other peoples 'red' tail lights.Con's - need screws (sheet metal screws or...?), no wiring diagram included.Off of the LED light:WHITE = GroundBLACK = Tail/RunningGREEN = BrakeOff the (92' YJ) jeep wire harness:Green / Black stripe = BrakeWhite = Tail/RunningWhite / Black stripe = Reverse lights(NO GROUND off my wiring harness)Simple trick to find what your wiring harness is: After you have pulled the old tail light out, turn on the flashers and running lights, ground the LED light and use the black wire to test different wires in the harness/plug.I had to find/create a ground connection for the LED lights somewhere near the light. On the plus side, once you have drilled your 4 1/2" hole, there is plenty of room to get some extra tools in there to put in a bolt or loosen some existing bolt for the grounding attach point.I installed the LED's downstream of the factory quick disconnects that were installed with the factory tail lights. That way i could use the disconnects anytime I needed to take the light out. Be sure to put a quick disconnect on the 'Ground' wire from the LED I've heard of people using the wires on the 'Jeep' side of the plug but I wouldn't have had enough room to pull wires in and out for cutting and such, this would also make it hard to quickly remove the taillights...Good luck / Enjoy!

Install not for the faint of heart.
After doing a lot of research on flush mount kits for the JKU wranglers, I was a little timid about taking on the little project. I have a 2008 4 door Rubicon, there were no instructions for this project only the tips and tricks I could find on the net. If you are not mechanically inclined and knowledgeable enough to research the solutions, stay away. Doing this LED conversion did require a resistor to control the lack of draw the lights have on the electrical system. Diagrams can be found on Google images. As for the lights, I have had them on for 2 or 3 months now and have to say these look sick, they are bright as all get out without being blinding. They are what I expected . I used a grinder to cut my 4 1/8" hole for the light to sit it. I didn't want to use a hole saw like some suggest, just so I had more control over what I cut. I build my own plate to mount the lights to, but plan on buying corner armor down the road. Definitely more than impressed with these, especially at a fraction of the cost.

One heck of a light for one heck of a price for one "what the heck" buyer.
I installed these tail lights on my 04 Jeep TJ about a year and a half ago. They didn't come with any details regarding the wiring but was easy to figure out and splice into the factory plug. One of them had an led that would not light up when the running lights were on, but the brake light would work on that same bulb. I've only noticed it a few times out of the last year and a half of daily driving and I have a habit of checking my lights at least 3 times a week. As of right now they work flawlessly! Running lights are just as noticeable as any newly produced vehicle and the brake lights... Well, they're pretty frickin bright. You won't have to worry about the common issue most leds have with differentiating between running and brake lights. The only drawback I've noticed is the snap ring that holds in the lens is rusty over two winters in NE Ohio, but it hasn't spread to the housing at all and hasn't bothered me.

Pretty cool but retaining ring rusts
Some things I really liked about these but things I didn't like. I liked that they look black when the LEDs are not powered up and I liked the price. I didn't like that the holder is metal instead of plastic. I didn't like how easily the plastic lense cracked (one had a small crack when I got it). Most of all I didn't like that the metal rings that hold the lenses in are not even painted. Mine were completely rusted within days of being on the vehicle. This can easily be fixed by running a bead of black silicone around the lense to cover the metal ring so it doesn't rust and hold crud in there.

Jeep Wrangler LEDs
I did the tail light conversion with these on my '97 Wrangler. Its white and black, and I didn't want the typical red round LEDs everyone has. So I figured these would look awesome... and they do. Price point is sweet! Easy enough installation if you know what you're doing... simple three wires on the back. Sadly I can't give it 5 stars because it didn't come with a wiring diagram!!!! I had to search through the reviews to figure that part out on another type of light from this same brand... which had different color wiring... so it was a little bit of trial and error. Otherwise these would get a 5 star rating... high quality, really affordable, SUPER bright, large diodes, light weight, and they shipped quickly. And to pay it forward and help some other sad sack individual with a TJ Wrangler... here's the wiring diagram I made.Running Lights -- yellow/black on the Jeep goes to black on the LEDBack up Lights -- noneTurn Signal/Breaks -- brown/red AND green/red on the Jeep (right and left sides respectively) goes to green on the LEDLED Ground -- white wire coming off the LED needs to be grounded to metal, not wired!!
