Parker Jotter London Ballpoint and Gel Pen Refill Discovery Pack: 3 Quinkflow Refills for Ballpoint Pens & 3 Quink Gel Refills

I purchased my first Parker Jotter pen September of 2001. Along with the pen it came with a gel refill. Fast forward to December 2023, I came across the gel refill (still in original blister pack) , while cleaning in my pantry closet. So I thought I would put it in one of my Jotter pens , but at the same time having doubts that it would even write! Well—I’m happy to report that it writes perfect!!! It writes as if I just bought it!! So that influenced me to make this purchase with the gel ink refills. Those are nice!! I put all of the gel refills in various pens. I love how it looks on paper. They are awesome!!

I have a beautiful Parker Pen with my name from my wife. The pen ran dry a while ago so I haven't used it. I found these refills and the gel refills are great. Feels like a new pen and at a fraction of the cost of an entire pen. A great deal.

These refills work in Parker and many other pens. They write smoothly, especially the gel refills. I prefer pens that are refillable and of better quality than the typical disposable pens. These refills help me continue to use a nicer pen.

There was a bit of leakage from one of the refills and caused quite a bit of mess. The refills themselves are nice though. One does not need to apply any pressure on the tip whatsoever. And, the ones called 'gel' are fantastic with the feel and finish of fountain pen.

I had some old pens with Parker ballpoint pen fillers that had become stiff after a few decades. I really like the gel refills, which glide easily across the paper and lay down rich, dark writing. The black gel is very dark and looks and feels better than the more conventional ballpoint refills. I have read some reviews that claim that the gel fillers run out of ink faster than conventional ballpoint cartridges. If so, I will just go out and get replacement gel cartridges. The black gel cartridge is the darkest black ink I have seen. The blue gel is likewise dark blue.

Buy a set of 4 parker pens, then exchange the ballpoint ink for gel ink, or a different colour of ink, or a different width. These refills are all medium, but you can get fine, and you can get red and green colours. If you have different coloured pens, inexpensive, you can create an awesome combination of pens that can be ussed for different purposes--red teachers' markers, green underliners, gel signatures, biro everyday. This set is the best starter exchange set available, time to explore!

Bought these for two different pens that were my mother's. I'm not exactly sure when she bought the pens but they have to be at least 30 years old, probably more. I prefer the regular ink but the gel works fine. Update: I didn't think I liked the gel ink but I've come to like it a lot. I wouldn't use it on checks as it can smudge if not given the chance to dry, but then I don't write that many checks these days. In case it helps to figure out if these will fit your pen, I've attached a photo of the refill against a ruler. End to end, the refill is 3 7/8 inches.

This was another amazon warehouse pickup and I am thrilled with what I have received. I am still on one refill after using one ballpoint refill for over a month and a half. They fit a regular jotter just fine and have not leaked. I didn't notice that much of a difference between the gel inserts and the other kinds, and all do the same job well in writing. Some refills will just take a lot of tracing around the page to break in the first time, though. You get a great variety for the price.
