Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Cleanser

I'm slowly but surely falling in love with everything that is Kate Somerville. I originally tried her ExfoliKate exfoliator and I do really like that. I liked it so much that I decided to give her face wash a try as well. First let me say it smells amazing. It smells like tea, specifically.. a mix of orange pekoe and earl grey (you can definitely smell bergamot in it). I love it. It's a light fragrance, so if you're sensitive to stuff like that, it shouldn't be an issue. It smells natural, not chemically or synthetic. Anyway, this stuff comes out like a paste. It's very different from any face wash I've used. It's almost like a super concentrated paste, because you need very very little of it. Just a tiny pea-sized dot will cover my face and neck, so this stuff will last you quite a while. It isn't terribly foaming like the name suggests, but it does get the job done and makes your skin feel clean. But the most impressive part about this face wash is how smooth and soft it makes your skin feel! I have never used a face wash that has made my skin feel like that. It truly is amazing. I know this stuff is really expensive, like a lot of Kate Somerville's stuff, but this here is very much worth it. I like this even better than I like the exfoliator, and I really like that stuff. It's worth the splurge. If you're unsure, try and get a sample or just buy the travel sized version of this to test it out. You'll love it. Would work great on both dry or oily skin - I have normal to dry skin, and it doesn't dry me out at all.

I love this facial cleanser and I hate that I love it because it’s so expensive but you only have to use a tiny bit at a time and it makes my face appear brighter and soft. So I would say it works well and I have sensitive skin and this wash does not bother my skin but it does contain actives, so if I leave it on for longer than it takes to wash my face, it will start to burn. I was previously using the iS clinicals one and I do like that one still but I like this one more.

This is my FAVORITE wash. I dont know the actual smell but it smells familiar from my childhood. Very nice scent. Almost like a bowl of fruit loops. Anyways, this leave my face feeling unbelievably fresh and clean. No irritation at all. Please give it a try! I have been using this stuff for years now! One of my favorite items that I look forward to arriving!

I used Kate Somerville gentle daily foaming face wash for many years. I'm still mad that it was discontinued. I recently came across a sample of this daily exfoliating foaming face wash and it's about as close as I will get to finding a replacement that I can be happy with. This is a lot gentler than the ExfoliKate intensive facial scrub so no worries. I have used it for about a week. No irritation but nice, smooth skin.

Absolutely love this cleanser. I find it works on my 40 year old skin as well as my teenagers.

I wanted to try this for a long time because I have heard such good things. I saw it was on sale so I finally pulled the trigger and bought it. When I received it and tried it, at first I thought maybe I had purchased the wrong product. It wasn't what I was expecting. I didn't realize that it was supposed to get foamy. I thought I might have wasted my money because it seemed way to gental and I thought I was getting something more aggressive. I kept using it anyway because I bought it. A few days later when I randomly touched my face I was taken aback when I noticed my skin was the smoothest I have ever felt it feel before. I inspected my skin on a mirror and could tell my pores on my nose that always have dark crap in them were looking smaller and cleaner. No more blackheads. I was very impressed and happy. Very happy with my purchase. The good things I heard are true. Oh and I do really enjoy the sent that it has.

Got this for my daughter - she was using one of their other products that really helped her skin. My daughter has struggled with cystic acne around her jawline and this brand has really helped with that. She wanted to try the daily cleanser and with the first use noticed that it made her skin so soft. This brand is just so wonderful! Highly recommend if you've tried a lot of different products, my daughter has pretty normal maybe slightly dry skin with some cystic acne and hormonal acne around her jawline and chin area. She doesn't really break out anywhere else. But it's been pretty frustrating for her and not a lot of solutions have come her way. It can be frustrating as an adult to still struggle with acne! She does not take any medications for acne and has been only using this brand and it is amazing the wonders of this product. This brand has really helped her

It changed my skin!! My acne went away, the smell is so good! & there is a lot of product for the size of the tube. It cleared my acne. I have combination skin.

For such money I expected my skin to GLOW 24/7. Just a good cleanser

I have dry, sensitive skin and this is wonderfully gentle AND effective.

Finally found a cleanser that works for me. Dosent leave my skin dry or irritated and I like the smell.

MADE MY EYELIDS ITCHING (EVEN WITHOUT APPLYING THERE BUT IN THE FACE) AND VERY SENSITIVE. I WAS NOT ABLE TO APPLY MY NIGHT SERUM NEITHER MY EYE SHADOW UNTIL 3 WEEKS AFTER THE FIRST AND ONLY APPLICATION.
