This product is so much easier that the old method I was used to, where I'd tear up strips of newspaper and get all gluey in building up layers over some sort of frame. It's a little bit 'dusty' while taking the material out of the bag (a mask might be a good idea for those with sensitive eyes or nose), and it needs quite a bit of work to get the water and material to be as UNlumpy as possible, but once it's all mixed well, it works really well. No mess, adheres easily, and is a pleasure to mold into whatever one fancies. In my case, a 3D portrait of our dear departed cat. It was such fun to use this material, and we were delighted with the result! One caveat, once dry it does need some sanding or filing to soften the surface. But all in all a great product!

I have used this product for many years. I always have good results.

Works fine. It is difficult to mix it to a smooth consistency, so I tend to use this as an intermediate layer over the strips of paper over my base structure, and then I use Paper Clay on top – as it has a finer texture than the CelluClay. But this works fine to create a general layer of bulk.

Love this stuff! Easy to mix, just add water. Be careful though, as it is pretty dusty until fully mixed. This sized bag has allowed me to create numerous projects, and I still have about half a bag left to mix and make even more things. My grandkid even used some to make a project, and she enjoyed herself immensely, and didn't make too much of a mess. Depending on how thick you apply this to make your project, determines how long to dry. I generally just wait a week to allow it to dry thoroughly.
