Games Workshop - Warhammer 40,000 - Space Marines: Infernus Marines + Paints Set

Nothing to dislike about this starter set except the Pauldrons have the ultramarine symbol already cast into them but they’re easy enough to smooth off if your careful with a hobby knife, under supervision of course if your young or married ! Then sand them down & smooth them off, unless you collect ultramarines or you want to clip the Pauldrons off to replace with your own factions like Deathwatch for example. The brush is citadel & a decent starter brush, I’m still using it for basing & the paints are decent citadel too, even got the base Armageddon Dust which is always a good go to for your bases. The 3 Infernus Space Marines are push fit so no glue needed but I always glue just in case but it’s personal preference. Overall it’s a great little starter kit for kids of all ages & the perfect way to get into War Hammer 40K, highly recommend.

Great staring kit, got me back to hobby after 15 years in no time! Had a complete blast painting these marines. I would suggest pair it with additional paints, kolinsky brush, modelling tools and wet pallet.

I used to paint Warhammer figures 20 or so years ago , and have recently been convinced to give it another go. I found this is a great set of 3 space marines, all in the newer push to fit construction , much cleaner than the old method I was used to of using plastic glues or superglues :). Alongside the 3 models you get a starter paintbrush and 6 pots of paint. One of which is different to the others , in that it’s designed for basing your figures to make the stands look more intereting. If you don’t think you’d know how to start , I found plenty of tutorials on YouTube based just around this set, showing you just what you can do with this set. It also spawned a few 5 paint challenges, where painters recreate some amazing paint schemes JUST. using a selection of 5 paints. I found this a great Segway back into the hobby.

Games workshop certainly know how to make easy beginner kits. The figurines were very easy to snap together and were easy to paint, without any areas being difficult to reach.

Good start to Warhammer

Un ottimo starter set per chi vuole muovere i primi passi nel grimdark universo di Warhammer 40,000. Questo kit dedicato agli Infernus Marines è perfetto per iniziare a collezionare e dipingere Space Marines senza bisogno di materiali o strumenti aggiuntivi. All’interno troviamo tre miniature push-fit, ovvero a incastro, che si assemblano facilmente senza colla: una soluzione ideale per principianti o per chi desidera montare rapidamente e passare subito alla pittura. Il livello di dettaglio dei modelli è notevole, in pieno stile Citadel. Il set include sei colori base Citadel, ben scelti per dipingere un classico schema degli Space Marines, e un pennello di buona qualità per cominciare subito. I colori offrono una buona coprenza anche con una sola passata, e sono perfetti per apprendere le basi della pittura su miniatura (base, ombreggiatura, drybrush, ecc.). In definitiva, questo kit rappresenta un perfetto equilibrio tra accessibilità e qualità, ideale per chi vuole esplorare il modellismo e la pittura nel mondo di Warhammer 40K senza spendere troppo.

I haven't painted a Warhammer 40k since 2012 and was surprised to see the models are now bigger than they used to be. I was even more pleasantly surprised to find out the minis in this set are completely snap together and no glue was required to keep them in place, this was great when it came to painting as I could remove limbs for easier access to hard to reach places. Unfortunately, other sets in 10th generation 40K are sticking with glue but everything in this box will get you going for someone looking to get into the hobby or someone returning to the hobby. Great value for money for what you're getting!

Estás figuras están bastante bien, para comenzar a pintar las primeras figuras de tus facciones favoritas de Warhammer, la pintura se nota de calidad y el pincel es bastante rígido para que puedas dar esos detalles precisos. Recomiendo aunque no esté en el paquete usar pintura de imprimación para que quede mejor el color que decidan usar y luego un fijador de pintura mate o brillante según sus gustos
