This jacket features a range of luxurious details including a real mouton, shearling collar, which is fully removable, an authentic oxygen mask tab and a zip-out quilted poly-fill vest liner insulated for added warmth which can be removed and worn separately as a style statement. The jacket also features two snap close side entry front pockets, interior pocket, full front wind flap, pen pocket on the left sleeve along with wool and nylon blend knit cuffs and waistband and trimmed with leather. Great leather, but...
This product is a made just a little long and a little large. I normally wear a large, but ordered a medium B-15. Good thing I read the reviews first. The medium is even a little large on me. (43 inch chest, 36 inch waist) But the leather is super quality. You can really feel the soft luxury in this jacket. Only a couple of small complaints though. I found that there is a bit too much material on the back panel. It bunches up there where it is sewn onto the rib-knit waistband; just a bit to make it noticeable. It is a small issue, but one worth mentioning. Besides that, I found that there is no insulation inside the sleeves. Just lining. The zip-out vest liner is warm, but it is the only insulation. I wanted to wear the B-15 in sub-freezing temps, but found that I must wear a soft-shell fleece under it to ward off the extreme cold. But, that works just fine. As far as whether the jacket is worth the price, I am still undecided. When one pays more than $600 for a jacket you want it to be perfect. This one is not perfect. It's good, but definitely not perfect.

Hide quality not that great
First off, this jacket runs very large. Even a full size small is pretty loose. The leather isn't great quality. Two panels have elephant hide look -- a lot of wrinkles -- while other panels are pretty smooth. I got a Cockpit G2 a while back and one of the panels looked so bad I got a replacement.

Jacket looks awesome but is slightly darker brown than indicated (which is fine by me anyways). The sizing also runs slightly larger than advertised. I have a 44 inch chest but the large size (42 by the chart) fits perfectly. The quality of material feels top notch, but please note that this is a heavy jacket and weighs nearly 5 pounds. The liner inside does a great job of keeping warmth in and the neck mouton also looks and feels quite nice. For a fall jacket you will definitely want to take those off as it will definitely make you hot. Looking forward to fully testing it out in single degree weather in northern Michigan in a couple of weeks.
