It's gluten free product. It's made from powders of that wheat and corn .

Why so High? $4.98 at Walmart.

Clinton, yes it is less at Wal-Mart, but some customers can’t or they don’t have the convenience or they don’t want to shop at Wal-Mart. As a seller on Amazon, I provide a service for those that aren’t able to shop or don’t want to go out & shop at Wal-Mart and with that service a buyer will always pay a little more for that convenience & service. Just from what I gather, reading the ingredients, I'd say it's definitely NOT Non-GMO. And for that reason, I'd stay away from it. I don't like Frankenfood and although this does have wonderful reviews, for the most part, the ingredients are too many and too "plastic."

Not very cheesy but it does smell like bottled Parmesan cheese

Nice salty taste, but negligible cheese flavor, and I can achieve the same saltiness from MSG (which I wouldn’t want to use!) or salt.
