I have just finished the jar I bought exactly one year ago. It keeps fantastically well in the fridge — even for a whole year, evidently! It’s a very useful ingredient in soups and base gravies to make curries.

The flavour of this garlic and ginger paste is very good and as similar to the homemade version as a commercial product can be expected to be. It's great for South Asian cooking which is what i mainly use it for. As the jar is so large I divided the contents into smaller quantities and froze most of them.

Really good product that easily lasts a month in the fridge allowing you to use it for lots of cooking.

The jar arrived with a broken security seal i.e. the lid when pressed could be popped in and out. Smells pretty funky too so won't risk using it. Very disappointed that the item cannot be returned so a complete waste of money.
