Q: Can you put these on dogs, for bathing?

I would not think so. I have 2 dogs and I'd be afraid to even try it.

Q: Will these work for going under water 3 to 5 feet?

Yes. I go down to about 8 ft., but can definitely feel the pressure.

Q: Do these plugs stay in your ears well or do you need a cap or band to hold them in?

They do stay in pretty well depending on what you’re doing. I do feel that some moisture still gets around the ear plugs, but overall they are good & much better than the moldable plugs.

Q: are these good for showering to prevent shampoo going in ear?

They're pretty good for swimming, so would probably work for showering. Unfortunately for me, as a woman, they are just a bit big for me, so not perfect for swimming.
