Eaglemoss Publications Star Trek Starships Spec. Enterprise NCC-1701-E Veh. & Mag

I've been a replica model collector for many years. The price for the XL version made me hesitate. The Items come very well packed. The attention to detail is amazing. Some reviews mention misplaced tilt details the are invisible when they are displayed. Overall the attentention to details awesome. I have ten ships all XL size. The books that are included are sturdy full color full of facts regarding the model. These too are detailed histories of its construction, detailed diagrams and other interesting facts. A big plus for Star Trek Fans. IF you are a Star Trek fan you will appreciate the quality and detail. Almost works of art! Only one model came damaged. Some parts were no properly glued and simply fell off. An easy fix. NONE had parts that were broken. BE CAREFUL!!! IF you buy one you will unable to resist buying more. PS...there are at least FIVE versions of the Enterprise. One for each Capitan beginning with Captian Pike NCC 1701...Capitan Kirk NCC 1701 A...Capitan Picard...1701 B. Before purchasing, I hit the YouTube reviews on this. It's the XL version of the Eaglemoss Starship Enterprise, NCC-1701-E. It appears to be the version from Nemesis, given the rear facing Torpedo housings that were added to the spaceframe for that movie. Quality - Physical, the saucer is die-cast metal. the secondary hull seems to be die-cast plastic of an unknown hard plastic type. Didnt find any loose chads from the removal from the die. Paint job is excellent. No smudging on the pain that I can see. The starfleet penants on the hull and nacelles are accurate. The ship name/registry lettering while small is extremely detailed and well done. Aztecing ... could be better, but it's still well done for what they have. As much as I'm picky about being exact, this one I can slide a little on because they still have enough there to make it look good. Overall, I'm very pleased and along with my XL Voyager, is going to be up front and center of my display. Note of caution: The stand is persnickity. Dont put it on anything that will shake much. Otherwise, the ship may jigger itself out of the brackets and fall. And it's a heavy thing to fall onto your floor. Something gonna go boom and break.

Product is great, got this as a bday present for my cousin, OEM retailer was out of stock but seller had it and at a great price.

Love the Enterprise-E and First Contact and the design if the ship is near perfect. However it arrived with a broken stand that would not have held the ship very well. I am not sure why Eaglemoss designs such poor stands. Neither Amazon nor Eaglemoss would ship a replacement.

Heavier than I expected too!

I bought this because it wasn't available on the Eaglemoss website directly right now (I think they purposely take some of their ships off the market for a period of time to drive up demand and profits, otherwise there would be no reason to have ships become "unavailable" that I can think of). It will likely pop up as available in a few months from now on their website. That said I love most of the ships and this did not disappoint!

There is not a thing I find wrong with this product! The details are incredible! The Enterprise E is one of my favorite ships in Star Trek. I'm so glad to have purchased this beautiful representation!
