Good sports romance
Sebastian had been noticing Mia for a long time and when they finally got together he thought they had something special. Mia was frightened by how good it was with him but she had her eye on a future in astrophysics and she thought a boyfriend would get in the way. She constantly went hot and cold on him and he almost gave up and them ever being a couple. He had his own problems being the son of a famous baseball player and everyone thought he would follow his father. Yes, he was talented but it wasnt his passion.

Grace Reilly Does it Again
Ahh what a ride this book was. It’s taken me a few days to process the emotional rollercoaster that I went on. So many swoon-y moments and really loved the character development. Initially, I wasn’t the biggest fan of Mia - I found her a bit hot and cold, although will note that I love it when an author can make you have mixed feelings about a character as it makes them feel real. But by the end, I genuinely loved her badass attitude and really felt that she (and me along with her) had been on a real growth journey. And we love a woman in STEM! Seb though - man he was down bad and I loved every second of it. So refreshing to have a male character who is so emotionally mature. As always, Grace provided immaculate spice and she explored deeper issues with sensitivity and realistically. It was great to see more of Penny and Cooper and to see Seb interact with his family, whilst also learning more about his past.Whilst Cooper will always be my favourite, Seb has solidified a strong position in second place. Can’t wait for Izzy’s book now!

Read it, you know you want to!
“Mia Angel.”⚾️ Forced Proximity⚾️ Second Chance⚾️ Women in STEM⚾️ Sports Romance⚾️ Reverse Grumpy x SunshineI read my first sports romance late last year and ever since I have been well and truly hooked. I’ve read hockey, basketball, boxing, horse riding, absolutely anything I could get my hands on! So when I say this is one of my all time favourite reads, I really really mean it!I knew going in that I’d love Seb, his character in the last two books really stood out to me. But I wasn’t ready for how much I would adore him! He was so incredibly patient, absolutely hilarious and so relatable! He’s grown up in the shadow of his late father, fallen in love with the same sport that will forever compare the two. It was such a magical read to see him learn that his passions outside of the sport were enough, that he could be his own person. Honestly it was beautiful and you know I cried happy tears!“And he had the nerve to smile at me like I was a lovely star, not a black hole.”Mia, she was such a complex character! She was so incredibly smart, with such a passion for her future. She’s ready to fight tooth and nail for it, with or without any support. I love strong fiery characters but I love when they show their vulnerability. It just makes them so real. The struggles she had with her family accepting her for who she is, from her sexuality to her career choice. She is such a strong and inspirational character even when she struggled. Especially when she struggled.“All science starts with a question, and I had enough for several lifetimes. I know, in the deepest, most vulnerable, most guarded part of my soul, that I was given this passion for a reason.”The trust these two developed. Wow. Their journey was hard fought for and they earned that trust from each other. Their love story was beautiful, you could say it was written in the stars. They were each others biggest cheerleaders and I am so here for it!We need to talk about the text banter too. It’s my new favourite thing ever I swear! It’s hilarious and so REAL! I love it.
