Easy & effective solution, better than new!
This material was easy to cut out and sew onto the soles of my handknit Tibetan slippers. The raw edges didn't fray, it didn't take a lot of hand strength to push a needle through the fabric, and there's easily enough left to resole another pair. My slippers' soles originally had nonslip dots on them that never gripped very well and wore off quickly. This product saved the day: it has the perfect amount of resistance for hardwood floors--not too little, not too much--so after slipping and sliding with every step last winter I'm finally getting a grip. I'm really happy with how this little project turned out.
