I got this for my son, who’s favorite word is banana. He has it with him wherever he goes in the house. Out of all the blankets he has. This one is his favorite blanket.

We have lots of friends and family that live far enough away that they wouldn't want to make the drive here and back in just a single day. So we've taken to making sure that our guest room is always comfy for them. When we get a really special guest (somebody who has traveled very far or who we haven't seen in a long time) I like to order special decorations for the room. This banana blanket was just such an occasion.*What I liked*:I will say that the design/print on the front of the blanket is very clear. It definitely looks like the pictures. I don't know how long the picture on the blanket will hold up to repeated washings, but it looks great out of the bag.I can also say that it's quite soft and fuzzy. The blanket I received was the 50” x 60" size. While this isn't a good fit for (most) adults, it would be great for kids. And for our needs, it worked just fine as it really was just intended as a topper for the bed.*What I didn't like*:The first thing I'll say here is that it does feel a little thin. In testing, it kept me relatively warm draped over my lap while watching a movie. But I wouldn't rely on this to keep you warm in cold weather or as your only blanket.The second thing I mentioned is the price. This is really the elephant in the room to me. At $40 for a blanket of this size, I feel that there just isn't a good value proposition here. I can't help but compare this to the soft fuzzy blankets that Costco carries this time of year. I'm not going to make a direct comparison as it isn't necessarily fair. But blankets of that size and quality are available from several different retailers in the $10-$20 range. It's pretty hard to justify a $40 price tag in the face of that.*The Bottom Line:*Overall, this is a funny and comfy novelty blanket that serves its purpose for us. The quality is good and if the pattern is something that you find humorous then you'll probably be happy with it. My only real issue is the value proposition. But since I only deduct one star for that, my final score here will be four stars out of five. Having said that, I don't think I'd order this over again knowing what I know now.

I got this for my bestie as we having a running banana joke that started back in 1994. She laughed and was delighted! It's a good size (but she's a small person), super soft and plush, vibrant and well printed. It's an odd blanket to have, or an odd saying I think, but it worked very well in this case, so there's definitely a niche. For us, it was utterly perfect and could not have been better! My bestie has a lot of medical issues and gets cold easily, so having a warm, fuzzy blanket to wrap herself in is ideal. I have nothing but praise for this blanket so far- highly recommended!

Blanket is soft, and cute. But it is way over priced. I was shocked at what was received compared to the price tag. Wouldn’t pay more than $10 for this if I had seen it in person. It is very small. Only the cute print is on one side of the blanket. The other side is white. It is also surprisingly thin.
