I needed a new notebook for journaling and decided to give this one a shot. The leather bound cover feels really nice, and the notebook itself has a nice heft to it. The pages are a good size and the lines have good spacing. It has a table of contents page which is slightly odd since the pages aren't numbered?I like the strap that holds it closed as well as the loop to hold a pen with it...however both of those are kind of loose on mine. The closing strap could almost slide off on its own, and the pen loop just hangs loosely to the side. It'd be nice if they were both a little tighter.Mine also had some damage to the leather, a permanent impression where it was scraped or squished. It was packaged well and the packaging was undamaged so I think this had to have happened before shipping.Overall, minor issues but a pretty good journal for daily writing, and at a decent price.

This is a very lovely journal, and the leather feels nice and supple. My only complaint is that the paper is somewhat thin, and a test with various types of pens all met with similar results - I can clearly see my writing on the other page. The ink didn't bleed through, so that's a plus, and if being able to see your writing on the other page doesn't bother you, then you won't mind this factor. All that said, I still like the journal, and will enjoy writing/drawing in it, albeit with pencils rather than pen, and probably not for any special purpose.

I love the cover and how tight the binding is. It is very attractive. I was disappointed in how far apart the lines were. You'd used up 5 pages for a decent entry, lol. But this is a wonderful journal! It just won't last me very long. I'd say it's better for teens than adults, but I'm a heavy writer, so I guess it would be great for someone who doesn't write as much as I do!

I like the dress design and the setup. Probably my 2nd favorite journal. My 1st favorite has perforated pages. Otherwise great journal with a pretty tree design. I like that it has a front page that you can create your own table of contents to organize your journal's content.

This is really a very nice and quality journal for an excellent price point. I don't see many similar for less than $10 or $11. The cover does look and feel like the leather as described with a convenient pocket in the back with its opening facing to inside, so little chance anything will fall out.The bookmark ribbon extends about 1-1/2” below the bottom of the pages, easy to grab, in a pretty matching brown. The paper is easy on the eyes vs stark white.The Table of Contents would be more convenient if the pages were actually numbered. Easy fix: considering the price, Number the pages as you use!I really like the elastic straps used on journals, and this one is even nicer with a sliding tab on the elastic. The pen holder is elastic and will actually hold the large Dr. PhD pens; smaller pens need a pocket clip.For all of the pros against the cons that can be overseen, I offer 5-stars!

I got this for my daughter who needed a new journal. It was very inexpensive so I was worried about the quality. However, after receiving it, I was very pleased. The leather was nice and soft. It wasn't stiff and hard to use. We liked how it has an elastic closure and a ribbon bookmark. The pages are a nice quality. We didn't use a felt-tip pen but using a regular pen it didn't leak through or show through on the other side. All in all, it's a nice journal at a even nicer price!

This book is soo cute!! I have been looking to replace my old leather notebook and this does the trick. the pages feal so nice, and they are bound really well. I was even able to hold the book by a single page and it didn't rip. I love that it is a hardcover and that it lays flat no matter what page you have it open at. It also has a pen holder if you want to keep your favorite pen close by. It also has a bookmark, so you never lose you place. I need more of these!!

I needed a new journal and got this. It is beautiful as expected. Nice leather cover nice to the touch. The pages are of great quality. Nice to write on. They’re thick and I use quill and ink to write and it does not bleed through the sheets. Highly recommend this.
