Great emergency backpack
Lots of pockets and fits everything we need to respond to first aid emergencies. Very sturdy and good quality.

Great Capacity
I’m able to fit all my emergency supplies inside with room to spare. The zipper gets stuck at one point but I’m hoping that works itself out.

Spacious and comfortable med bag- now I'm organized!
I have several IFAK's around my house, several trauma-specific kits, tourniquets, bandaid pouches, shears, suture kits, general meds, and many other first aid and emergency response-related items ready for use. My biggest problem, though, has been not having a bag that I liked to store everything in for quick/rapid deployment, be it in the house, on the go, or out and about. This backpack has hit a grandslam! The backpack is actually a legit, comfortable backpack, even or especially when loaded up. The back panel appears to be a breathable material which will help when wearing in the hot summers, or just for when wearing for long periods of time. The straps are thick and stout, and they are not cheap, nylon webbing straps that just dig into your shoulders. There are so many pockets! I love the expanding side pockets for keeping tourniquets in one side, and emergency blankets and glow sticks in the other. The lower front pock is sufficient to hold 2 Israeli bandages, gauze, and tape, with lots of smaller pockets and webbing on the actual pack, helping for organization. There is one front pocket behind the first aid hook and loop patch, which I use to keep my trauma shears, scissors, pen lights, and torch lights for quick access. There are two larger compartments in the backpack that are so useful. The outer, or larger compartment fits 5 of my small pouches/bags that are response-specific and labeled, as well as some other cold packs, bandages, and sam splints. When you open the bag, it is easy to quickly identify and access which kit I need. The last compartment, against your back, has what works as a laptop sleeve, and other smaller webbing pouches in it. I have an EMT response book in there for providing additional aide, should an emergency arise when I need immediate action beyond my abilities or recollection, while waiting for help. The bag is large and red and has retroreflective bands on it, making it very visible. I have advised my family where I keep it in the event of an emergency. The only item I didn't like, or rather was surprised that was not already included, was zipper pull cords. Fortunately, the zippers and the pulls are strong, and I have the bag loaded! I need longer pulls, though, so I have added retroreflective bright green paracord pull tabs or strings or cords onto each of the nine zippers for a more convenient way of opening the various pockets. I highly recommend this bag, am considering ordering another, and give it a huge two thumbs up!

Almost A Great Backpack
I bought this because the price was right @ $21 and I wanted a backpack with a lot of small storage options for usb cords, chargers, etc as well as a laptop compartment. This model fits that bill. I have only used it for 3 days now so my opinion may change but here is where it stands as of now: I really want to love this pack - it's absolutely what I was looking for and aesthetically it's better in person than in the pictures. The red cross patch is velcro and comes right off, although the hi-viz striping is a bit much, but acceptable. The backpack has great storage; it's the new style with two separately zippered compartments vs the Jansport style one main compartment. Of these, there is a huge one with good individual storage in it as well. Next there is a thinner full-size compartment that has a nice laptop sleeve, which is padded. The outer compartments are wonderful - with elastic bands for usb cords and mesh pouches for, well, chargers etc. These are all better-quality that I anticipated and don't feel like the elastic will blow out if something slightly too large is wedged in them. Why is this not a glowing review when everything so far seems to be a hit? The zippers. Perhaps it is the specific backpack that I received, but the zipper in one of the outer compartments seems to hitch a bit as it moves over the teeth. I do not like that. I forget which one it was, but another zipper also made me twice attempt the unzip process, not great. The quality of the zippers seems generally to be meh - they aren't dinky or tiny but I bet if I looked I wouldn't see a YKK cast into the metal... ALSO - an this may seem like a silly thing but ITS MY REVIEW SO - I hate the choice to put only a single zipper on several of the compartments. Why not use two zippers? I would have paid $10 more happily and probably have failed to notice the above mentioned flaws if there were two zippers per track. I didn't realize until I switched to this backpack how much better it feels having two zippers to work with. Fabric used to make the backpack feels decent, nothing amazing. I don't worry anything failing besides the zippers, but that is a fatal issue. Honestly though, after researching backpacks for over an hour prior to purchasing, I'd say this one still represents an incredible value and I would keep it 100% if that was my main motivator. I think I'm moving on, however, as I'm looking for a backpack that makes me happy every time I use it, or at least as much as a backpack can make one happy.

Fairly decent medical bag
There's plenty of room in here for the basic emt. You can store all the essentials you need and still have a little room left over. The bag seems to be made with good material and hopefully will last a long time.

Perfect for a family/group 1st aid bag.
I got this to take for my family when we travel. I always pack a back pack to keep at our home base, be it a tent, or our vehicle, etc., and then refill out mobile kits from it and use from it when we're near home base. This backpack is perfect. I love the very conspicuous bright red and reflective tape. Even a stranger could figure out this is 1st aid if needed. The material is strong and feels sturdy. Its doubled layered, with an outer and inner shell. The nylon strapping is general light to mid duty strapping. The fixtures aside from the zippers are plastic. The zippers aren't especially beefy, again, light to mid duty. I love that this pack had a ton of pockets and pouches and tons of room. It helps me keep everything organized. Yoi couldn't hike carrying this and a regular pack. It's a full to slightly oversized back pack on its own. If you hired with it frequently, it probably isn't heavy enough materials to last very long fully loaded. For keeping as a main kit at home base or in your vehicle, it's perfect.

Safety on the road
Got this for a first aid kit for the car. We have been first on scene for several accidents and all we have had in the car was a small pre-purchased kit with Band-Aids in it. I feel quite helpless sometimes. I purposefully looked for an empty bag this time. I've tried purchasing a premade/prefilled one but they usually are lacking in so many areas and are mostly just Band-Aids. For the same amount of money I can get a lot more items by packing it myself. I want to personalize mine with the things we typically need. I wanted a bag with good pockets to divide items to make it easier to find things when needed. I've tried using backpacks but they just don't work out. I guess people in the know designed these bags because it's been way better than my attempts to make something work. The bright color makes it easy to spot compared to other bags in the car when traveling. The sewing seems well done. The zipper is quality. Useful item
