Small bottle, perfect for carrying with you, with no obnoxious scent. I splattred red alcohol ink on my favorite sweat jacket while attending the art class. The bottle was easy to use, not messy at all, but I'd waited a couple weeks before buying/using the product. I had to scrub a few times over a couple of days, and was thankful it didn't leave any whitening on my light sage green jacket. The bottle screw top does not leak one closed, and the application was similar for me to coloring white leather jogging shoes. I think this product would work on most ink/stains since it was able to remove left on RED ink from mine. I did use a small brush, my nail to scratch it in, and with all that, it did remove the ink. Yes. I would definitely buy this again, and plan to use on any art marker, etc. stains.

This product is amazing!!! I almost never give reviews but I had to rave about this product and hopefully help fellow artists that have accidentally ruined countless pieces of clothing for creative endeavors. I used it on a pure white shirt that I had accidentally stained it with slightly watered down permanent black Higgins India ink due to an art project. The stained spot was about 2-3 centimeters large and I spent about an hour/hour in a half continuously placing the liquid on the spot and scrubbing it with a brush. It almost faded completely after my efforts and when I put it to wash and dry and the stain completely disappeared! This product takes patience , determination, and 90% of the bottle but it is worth it. One heck of a product and I highly recommend!

UPDATE: I kept at it with the stains and discovered that the final step of laundering “as usual” is when the stain goes. I tried this on both pants and a couch. The pants are clean! It was when the washing with ordinary soap and water (in this case by hand) that the stain disappeared. The couch stain still isn’t gone all the way, but it is much better. So I will repeat the process and focus most on the washing at the end part. (The directions clearly state not to wet the item you are cleaning with water before beginning so I am going to let the couch dry thoroughly before I try it again). But I am quite impressed by the job it did on the pants and can now recommend this product! Original review: This product took a while to arrive and I waited impatiently as a pair of pants had gotten ballpoint on them. Followed the directions exactly. Sadly, this product did not reduce the stain much at all. Plain rubbing alcohol worked better. (The product has a pleasant fragrance but to my mind that’s not worth the greatly higher price as compared with rubbing alcohol). It removed a slight amount of a sharpie stain on a fabric couch, but not much. Stain still very very visible. Again, rubbing alcohol worked better on both these ink stains, though it slightly faded the area treated for the pants, which this product did not. But this product didn’t work for me at least.

I purchased this to remove silver sharpie from black, lightly textured plastic. Seemed like a big ask. When I was ready to open this, I went out to the garage, opened the doors and put on protective gloves. I was expecting some serious toxic fumes. To my surprise the product was more like soap. I dabbed the ink mark with the Amodex and waited a few minutes. It didn’t really work. I was expecting immediate results. Like when using Naptha or alcohol. When in doubt-follow the instructions! I put a drop of Amodex, large enough to cover the ink mark, and waited until the next day. The next day I put another drop on the dried Amodex, to dampen the dried section and scrubbed it with a tooth brush. I let it set for a few hours and I wiped it off with a damp paper towel and the silver sharpie was gone. Awesome! I had 15 items I needed to remove the ink from. They were fairly small. I have quite a bit of the product left over. I just hope I can find the bottle next time I need it. Might be a long review, however I was impressed with how the product worked and that it didn’t need harsh, toxic chemicals!

I somehow got magic marker on my new jeans also some ball point ink on them. Your product took it right out with hardly any scrubbing. I highly recommend it! Also the ink stain was on them for over a week ❤️

This is basically a soap. I ordered this to get black permanent marker out of a ran carpet which it did not work. It may have lightened very slightly with alot of cleaning. It may work for other stains well but not for permanent marker. Disappointed!

In the gym locker room I shared my cleaning discovery and everyone bought it. I don't get commission, I just love the product. The biggest test was a lacy Queen Victoria style blouse from 2 generations ago turning brownish and stained, especially the collar. I was going to throw it away, sniff sniff. I tried Amodex and it returned to its majestic glory. Grease on grandson's jeans, - gone. Cranberry dots from a spill - gone. Amodex is inexpensive, easy to use. Just remember DO NOT USE WATER before you use Amodox. I am not a salesperson. I get no money for sharing my authentic enthusiasm. I had 2 skeptics in my family not believe me. Now they do. I gave a bottle to all friends.

Didn't work for ballpoint ink stains on a beige color faux leather (PU)nsofa, but it did work on a genuine leather handbag which had bad color transfer from clothes. YMMV.

I tried this product to remove ink stain , all it did was to smudge the ink further and make it more ugly Completely ineffective

I’m so happy I ordered this product. I’m a Poshmark seller and when packaging an order of a vintage dress that sold I noticed an ink stain. It took 5 rounds of using this gel but the stain from how ever long ago lifted. Absolutely no discolouration in the garment either. This gel was a total life saver!!!

Absolutely amazing product! I got gel ink stains on my trousers from washing them with pens on accident and its been months since I done anything about it because I seen people use alcohol which made it worst and I didn't want to risk it, however I got this stain remover and it works like a charm. I seen the bad reviews and honesty I think they must be using the product wrong because this is like magic (see pictures below). Mind you I also had these go in the dryer etc and it still after months managed to get most of the gel ink out, I will say if u look very very close you'll see a wee bit of it but honestly it's not bad and if you do it mutiple times unlike me who used it just once on my trousers it'll likely disappear all together. Very pleased because they discontinued making these trousers so I thought I could never wear them outside again. THANK YOU WHOEVER MADE THIS! (The picture after the stain remover still looks like it has white spots because it's before I put it in the washing machine once you was it those go away)

Useless product.I used it on my wooden table to remove ink it didn,t work.
