While Columbia's Terminal Tackle PFG boasts an appealing design, the shirt's polyester material lacked the breathability I sought for activities under direct sunlight, feeling somewhat plasticky. My experience with Columbia's Silver Ridge and Summit Valley lines shows that while their gear typically meets temperature regulation expectations through ample ventilation pockets, it often falls short in fit and material quality compared to brands like Patagonia. Attempting to give Columbia another chance with this product, I found that for my preferences still gravitate towards Patagonia. However, when balancing durability, breathability, and budget, Dickies surpasses Columbia with its basic short/long sleeve crew shirts.
