Olympia Tools 800 Lb Appliance Hand Truck with Easy-to-use Belt Tightener for transport Large Appliances and Furniture

Arrived today. Box was in tact. But their packaging was not adequate to allow it to arrive safely. Box is light cardboard and only taped. No foam padding used inside. The bottom edge of the lift point was bent up on one side and the weld was fractured. So o repackaged it best I could and am sending it back. It looks like a great unit. But if they cannot get it to me unbroken then what good is it. I may try to contact them and explain problem then reorder. Update. I contacted the manufacturer. They said Amazon boxes the items to go out to customers, it them. So that’s why it arrived broken. Amazon didn’t pack it right. They said they have heard this problem from others purchasing from Amazon. I looked it up on Home Depot. $56 cheaper and I used ship to store. It arrived to the store in perfect shape. Hopefully I just got unlucky with whoever packaged mine. Other reviews are high. I raised my review to 5 stars because the product is excellent. Wide wheels. Strong. Well designed to be used for the intended purpose.

Nice hand truck. Straps could be a littler heavier duty

This hand truck works exactly the way it’s supposed to. I haven’t had any problems with it at all. It handles heavy appliances smoothly, feels sturdy, and the straps keep everything secure while moving. The wheels roll well even with a full load, and the overall build quality feels solid. If you need a reliable appliance hand truck that does its job without any hassle, this one gets it done

Used this a couple of times, it's great.... EXCEPT when I went to use it last night and the wheel fell off, ball bearing was gone. Now I have to figure out what to do for a replacement wheel(s).

Works great for moving heavy appliances.

New unit arrived timely fashion but was damaged. One of the wheels was cracked and miss8ng chunks on the inner bearing area, making tool useless. Reached out to support for how to address warranty, and receive prompt reply! After sending some pictures of the goods, the worked with me to address the problem! Wonderful communication and service !! I expect to receive a new replacement assembly in a few days....will update then. Olympia tools is a company to work with!

First it took a week to arrive with multiple days of missing updates on the tracking history. Then the locking pin and washer that sits outside of the axle for the wheel was missing, not in the box or anything. The wheel literally fell off out of the box. No worries, I was able to fix it by using a oil drain plug crush washer I had laying around and bent a key ring through where the locking pin would have been to hold it in place. A shaky setup but it would last through the move I need it for. Then I wrapped the straps around it for storage until it was time to start moving... And then the lower strap snapped at the stitching... Either the gym is REALLY paying off or this thing cant hold anywhere near its 800lb rating. I could sew it back together but nope, two fixes for a brand new item exceeds my limit, time to return it. I was going to give it 2 stars since the frame seems pretty solid but then I thought about the perfectly good key ring I wasted on this thing. Get the Franklin brand from Harbor Freight, it's the exact same dolly for half the price and you get to skip the week of shipping.

The supplier of this product did a third party shipping with USPS. The unit weighs in at 49 pounds. They saved a lot of money but USPS WILL NOT DELIEVER IT. I am very upset with this company. Tried to call and got a robotic response with no return call. I had to drive to the other side of town. Had to drag a five foot long 50 pound box out of the post office (the lady almost could not get it to the door). Then down the parking lot. USPS does not have a loading ramp or zone. The box weight was not the problem but the awkward size. Very poor customer service. Unit itself seems fair. Worst thing is the plastic rails to protect the furniture. Very cheap with no rubber or padding.
