Easy connect, low restriction
These seem like quality brass push connect check valves. Able to easily test operation and direction by blowing into it, so doesn't take more than a couple of psi and feels like it seals positively. Or, there's a cast arrow in the side which confirms orientation. I installed the pressurized end first and opened a valve to expose it to 50 psi from pressure tank before installing supply hose and it didn't backflow. Solid and simple way to manage flow. It would have been nice to offer a 4-pack at a discount, but the price isn't too high per item.

Easy to install, works well.
I installed these in hot and cold copper pipes, which supply a hose spigot in my garage. I needed to replace the leaking shutoff valves in these lines, and decided to also resolve a backflow issue caused by this fixture. Without check valves in these lines, cold and hot water would mix and backflow to other fixtures in my house, which would cause them to dispense neither hot nor cold, but lukewarm water. This only happened when using the hose in the garage, with both shutoff valves open. These check valves solved the problem. This is my first experience using these push-on type fittings. They were very easy to install, and are leak-free. I was considering using check valves that needed to be soldered in, but was concerned that I may overheat and damage them during installation. I'm very satisfied that I decided to try these. They were easier to install, and economically superior. Durability in the long haul remains to be seen, but, with the lines securely attached to the wall, I don't foresee problems with leaks in the future.

These work great if you need a Check Valve
I installed this on a hot water recirc line from my kitchen tap back to the hot water tank. The original one that the builder installed failed open and this just fit in nicely. It is on the pump discharge so the pump pressure causes it to open and allow flow. Nice to be able to get a CV without hunting all over the place to find one. I like this better than a weighted CV.
