Great little pump for winterizing our Park model cabin every October. Pumps the water through our water lines just fine

The media could not be loaded. I read other reviews, and almost didn't buy it for the lone star writers, but I took a chance on it for the price. It works flawlessly! For those that said it overheated, I'd bet that you are either not priming it, or you are using that kinky little hose that comes with it for the inflow.It is a little noisy, but I don't care. My boat is not sinking anymore! And FYI, it makes for an awesome bilge pump for a leaky pontoon boat.Advice: Get yourself an old straight garden hose, cut it to the needed length, and use that for the inflow.

I use this to move water from two water tanks to water my garden during the summer. The system is easy to set up so that I just plug in the power when I want to use it and unplug until the next time. It moves the water out of the tank as required. But if I was complaining I would say 1) its loud (but I only run it for a short time so no big deal) 2) it doesn't create much pressure so can't move water very far or very fast. OK for my needs so far.

This VIVOSUN Water Transfer Pump is powerful and efficient! It worked perfectly for transferring water quickly and with no issues. The pump is easy to use, reliable, and gets the job done. Highly recommended for anyone needing a solid water pump!

I was expecting a better performance for this pump.- I read a lot of comments from many pumps and finally Idecide to buy the Vivosun 1 hp water transfer pump.- I bought new hoses with tips adapters excited that finally I found a solution to the problem I have when rain hard.I have a problem in my parking driveway when rain strong, the water level rise up because is a low level surface and take several hours to drain.- I though to help to push the water with a pump directly to the manhole asidethe sidewalk.- Is clean water and I have been using many times this pump, following the poor instructions of the manual but the power of suction is poor. It doesn't matter what I try. I test placing the pump very close from the water source ; I place it 2 feet from the suction place and pumping in a hoseaway 50 feet in flat ground level to the next manhole and is totally false this equipment have the capability of move 2250 gallons per hour. the instruction are very simple to operate, but is very week the suction power.I test her capability and pump aprox 5 gallons each 15 minutes.- In total 60 gallons per hour. Is a waste of electricity because is 10 amp consumption which is aprox 1,000 watts. Or 1 kw-hour/ per hour.Take like 5 hours to drain the rain water accumulated in this low level area of my driveway.- I don't recommed this product. For me is almost useless.- I expend more that 100 bucks expecting something better and serious equipment. is another piece of crap coming from China trough Amazon which is invading US from mediocre products.- Beside that you don't find description about what type of carbon brushes use, or impeler model in case scenario we need replace this parts which are more vulnerable to wear. I am looking on Amazon If I find such info and doesn't appear nothing about parts. Same thing on the manual that came with the pump.I would wish return it If I could; but I open the box 3 weeks after buy it, and pass already the month to recoverymy money and return the garbage. I hope this comment be useful for others.

The media could not be loaded. The quality is not great but probably worth what you pay for. Bought this to help drain a hot tub. The motor vacillates like it’s under stress for a few seconds then goes normal. It also gets hot to the touch after running it for 30 minutes. The gallons per minute rating is a stretch we found. 700 gallon hot tub took several hours to drain.The hose included with it was junk. It went straight in the garbage. The picture shows how it was crimped and broken right out of the box.

Pump is GREAT - very fast, no complaints.Pay an extra couple bucks and get the one with the switch. I went cheap and ended up having to splice a rocker switch into the line. Do yourself a favor - get the one with the switch.

Very good value for the cost. powerful enough to power my garden sprinkler system.

I bought this for cleaning an aquarium. It is more efficient at waste removal than a gravity filter. It has also been used to pump water out of a basement and was effective for that. I do find the high-pitched noise that it makes quite annoying, but I'm only running it for a couple of minutes. I also find that it leaks a bit around both hose attachments, so I set it in a plastic tote when using over hardwood floors. I probably don't have the right combination of rubber gaskets. I did not like the pinched garden hose that came with it so I replaced that with stiffer tubing.

loving this pump, i have a bunch of submersible pumps that i used to use to empty/fill containers with water. with this i can do it in half the time and not need to move the pump. its fast powerfull and not that loud.i made my own switch for it, and am super happy.

It sounds like a great idea to help drain my air conditioner pan so that it does not drip over the balcony and irritate my miserable neighbor. And it worked very well for a little while and I was actually able to attach a nozzle and hose to the other side and water my plants with it.But after one month it slow down and it stopped working. I’ve taken everything apart that I could to see if there’s any clogging and all is clear, but the motor sounds like it is struggling. I wish I could get my money back for this as it is nothing but junk and I recommend do not buy this
