Recommended by the independent.
First one delivered perfect as per usual by Amazon. Sadly it stopped working after a couple of weeks. Sent back but bought another as this may have just been a one off. Time will tell. Update. Previous issue was user error and buyer not reading instructions properly. After getting a replacement I read instructions fully and you have to moisten the sensor with some water before using. Once I did this it works a treat and at half the price of brand name sensors I would highly recommend.

Doesn't reliably turn on
Setting it up was quite easy. When it works it's great. Sadly though, after just a couple months mine started having problems turning on. I've tried everything to get it working, but sometimes it just refuses to turn on. It's really quite disappointing. Ive reached out to Coospo support twice and have heard nothing back. It's so frustrating when Im ready to head out for a run and then the monitor refuses to turn on.

Great budget rechargeable HRM
Bought to "fix" the problem of dead batteries with both older coospo and garmin HRM straps. Ive had Garmin (hard and soft strap), Polar and Coospo (battery) sensors over the years, but this is the best by far: I've had this for about 2 years now. Pros: - rechargable; comes with a magentic usbc dock which is shaped to locate the sensor in the dock for clean charging contact. - everything connects to it! Phone, garmin, laptop...no problem. Supports both bluetooth and ANT - tho sometimes ANT is temperamental if i have too many BT devices nearby (overlapping frequeuncies) - Durable: very little to go wrong tbh. I guess not having a physical button to force it to turn off might be an issue if it ever went wrong... but it doesnt: it just works. - strap is comfortable. black and easy to rinse under tap. Ive had to use a nail brush to clean it fully sometimes but it stands up to it. I have had 2 other (battery) coopso straps before and i tend to use their straps as they are brightly coloured -flashing blue light shows its on, connected and sending a signal. If its beeping it means its not connected but is on -green light: flashes when charging and sold when fully charged - WAY cheaper than garmin rechargable equivalent (about 3x more expensive!) - decent battery life: mine has lasted 20+hrs between charges and Ive never run it down in use... more that it has turned itself on in my bag and run down - "survives" under a wetsuit when swimming... doesnt give a persistent signal (as no BT devices do in water), but useful for when going straight onto the bike Cons: -charging dock is "old usbc tech" in that you need a budget usbc cable to charge it: if your cable is trying to "smart charge" your device then it just wont work... this is a known issue with older usbc protocols and cables - Turns on a bit too easily sometimes; it will be in my bag, not connected to the strap and will just decide to turn on, rather than turning on when detects a signal. Frustrating if it goes off at night... - Don't wash the strap in washing machine: it damages the plastic on the black clip exposing metal which then starts to rust... not great if you are wearing a white top! I used some stove enamel spray to give it a more durable coat - sometimes reads low if the strap contacts arent damp enough - black is only option... I find coloured ones means i never forget to put in my bag (so i use my older coospo red/blue straps) In all when it eventually dies, I'll be buying it again. Loses 1 star because of the charging dock issue: if I forget to pack an older cable then I cant charge it!

Accurate and connects every time
Only had it a few days but so far it's been absolutely brilliant. Simple set up with a no frills app on Android. It beeps as soon as the device is connected to the strap and detects a signal, which easily done by wetting the strap lightly. It works. Every. Single. Time. No drop outs. Also connected straight away to a treadmill in parallel to the phone app. Faultless. I had a Polar H10 previously and both the app and the strap worked either intermittently or not at all. The coloured light on the device is of limited use; it indicates your heart rate zone, which you can set in the app. Unless you're one ponce about shirtless in front of a mirror whilst working out I doubt it will see much use. It might allow running without a receiving watch at push, with a thin shirt. So far the H9Z has lived up to the reviews and recommendations on line and for a fraction of the price of the H10. I couldn't recommend this enough.

Failed after 11 months - will not charge - Cannot return
I use this with my wattbike. I was quite pleased to start with and it does the job with a decent battery life. However, it will not charge or has simply packed up after 11 months. Regrettable purchase, I out to have gone for a decent.

Very Disappointing
For the first 4-5 months HRM performed perfectly. I then started getting dropouts and erratic readings. Changed belt, ensured monitor was fully charged, problems continued. I have now emailed Coospo twice and not received a reply, very disappointing.

Excellent product that just works
Had this for a long while now. Very good. Connects very quickly and the light on the front blinks and it bleeps so you know it's connected. Stays connected too. The rechargeable battery with cradle is great. Lasts quite a long time. So much better than the wahoo. I've been through 3 of those before getting this. They were much more difficult to connect, often became unconnected and the battery rusted from my sweat. All three broke. This is so much better.

Doesn't last long but was Comfortable and did connect to gym equipment
This is fully adjustable and is very comfortable to wear. It works with the app which is good for when not using gym equipment but also connects to the gym equipment (Pure Gym) I have to change this from 5 stars to 1 star as it has stopped working after only a few uses. It is supposed to automatically turn in when worn and makes a beep to confirm it is on. It doesn't beep and does not turn on. It has turned out to be a waste of money
