How does it fare in the rain?

Very good, before in my yard through 2 days in a row of rain, until now are maintained very well

I'm going to put them on the table and worry that they will be blown away by the wind, they look very light?

I hung them on a tree in my yard, after a high wind, and they are still very much in place, because they are metal.

How many hours does the charge last?

Ours last for about 6 hours or longer.

Do they need batteries or do they need sunlight?

This is solar-powered, as long as the switch is turned on, the solar energy will be automatically absorbed and charged during the day, and the lights will automatically come on at night.
