Luxdecor Real Wood Wall Planks - White Shiplap Boards, 5" Peel and Stick, 10 Pieces, 12.5 Sq Ft

A wonderful thing for DIYers. I had no idea you could buy ready made decorative planks, I've been buying lumber and cutting/treating it myself. Lame. These make a great accent, I used them to create a divider between two types of vintage wallpapers and the result is impressive! So easy to use, small enough to work in small spaces with and the adhesive option is wonderful.

The product is not as it is shown in the pictures. The white looks like it was painted with acrylic paint. The wood is too thin and fragile

The adhesive on the back does not stick on the wall permanently. I had to use liquid nails to get it to stick on the back.

These panels were better than I expected. I had a general idea of what these would he like. The woodTexture is really good and the white paint is done well. The wall I wanted these for has a slight bend to it.I suspect the panels will last as I also put a few nails in them. Pretty nice product.

These real wood planks came well packaged with clear installation instructions. After washing the wall (giving it adequate time to dry of course), we went to set up installing these planks. We had to set them out on the floor before applying them to the wall because we were trying to mix 3 colors. The wall still needs to be done because more needed to be ordered, but they were easy to attach to the wall and they seem to be well stuck. What is done looks great. I've installed shiplap in some beautiful beach homes. Have about 20yrs experience in the remodeling industry as a side hustle. It truly gives a nice rustic cottage style vibe.For the name to have luxe in it I was expecting a more luxurious vibe from the product. The price is high and claims to be shiplap but there's no tongue and groove. It also has a very rough surface reminiscent of painted pallet wood. If I'm paying $80 for merely 12ft. of short shiplap planks it should have tongue and groove and the option of rough or smooth finished surfaces. Then they can then see what consumers like best and not disappoint or miss out on a larger amount of people and happy customers.Now the positive! It has 3 adhesive strips and is extremely light! Soooo it's perfect for campers, rvs and vanlifers community. I'm remodeling a 22ft. 2022 heartland prowler into a cozy sanctuary and will go ahead and install these in the bathroom to see how they hold up and look. I've had other items adhesive backing not hold up but it's nice in campers to use it for the sake of not screwing/stapling/nailing into the walls and puncturing holes into it's walls to cause damage later inside due to moisture , mold and humidity.If I had known that this wasn't a smooth finished shiplap I honestly wouldn't have gotten this because my bathroom goals are to create a high end spa like retreat atmosphere.I've been trying to find a solution to solve installing shiplap boards or a material to look like shiplap that was thin and light to cover the whole ceiling and got excited when I read another reviewer stating it was very light and thin! We'll see! If they corrected the issues I mentioned and offered longer planks as well they could make a killing with this product!I could easily correct these issues as I have all the necessary wood crafting tools but I want this review to remain pure to the product provided.I'll share the finished results soon.
