**Customer Review: JAYO PLA 1.75mm Matte Filament** I've been using JAYO PLA Matte Filament for several prints, and I’m impressed by the quality and finish, especially at this price point. The matte effect gives prints a premium, non-glossy look that’s smooth and hides layer lines quite well, making it ideal for aesthetic projects. The filament is easy to work with, extrudes consistently, and doesn’t require extensive tweaking to achieve good results, even on a standard setup. A couple of minor issues are worth mentioning. The matte finish seems to make the filament a bit more brittle than standard PLA, so it’s essential to handle it with care, especially when loading or unloading. Additionally, the filament sometimes causes slight clogging in fine nozzles, so periodic nozzle cleaning might be necessary if you’re doing extended prints. Overall, JAYO’s matte PLA is a great option if you want a smooth, professional look for display pieces. Just keep in mind its slightly more delicate nature compared to regular PLA.

Nice rich colour (brown) works wonderfully on the machines. Very good print quality adheres to the print plate well. Has a good temperature range so can be used on most printers. Great price and as always with amazon it came the next day , I think I ordered it at around 11pm so definitely speedy shipping. Would recommend especially at a good price.

I'm a long time loyal Bambu filament user. And I've never really swayed away from it . But I'm seriously impressed by this Jayo. I bought 3kg as a tester, Pink, Green, Black. And it prints AMAZING!! Equally as good as bambu. Printed a calibration for each and it needed no tweaking straight out the pack. But it guys, you won't be disappointed

The red pla filament completely tangled and unusable. It is not just a minor overlap – the spool is so badly tangled that the filament cannot be fed properly at all. I am using an AMS unit, and this filament caused serious issues. The AMS keeps trying to pull the filament in, constantly straining and struggling because of the tangles. I am genuinely concerned that this could damage the AMS mechanism over time due to the continuous resistance. This is clearly a spooling quality control issue. Filament should never be shipped in this condition, especially when many users rely on automated feeding systems. Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this filament unless spooling quality is improved.

I tried this JAYO PLA expecting decent results, but unfortunately the spool I received wasn’t wound very well. The filament had uneven winding which caused a few feeding issues during printing. I also experienced some partial stringing, even after drying the filament beforehand. The biggest issue was with my AMS system. Because of the way the filament sat on the edge of the spool, it occasionally slipped down the side which caused feed faults during prints. That meant I had to keep an eye on it rather than letting long prints run unattended. The filament itself prints reasonably once it’s feeding properly, but the spool winding and feeding issues made the experience less smooth than expected. Overall it’s usable filament, but the winding quality could definitely be improved to avoid feeding problems.

Decent filament for a decent price, only one failed print and that was basically down to user error. would and will be buying this brand again.

Good filament, wound on the spool well and serves its purpose. I used this on the bambu lab a1 AMS, but I had to pre print adapters as the hole in the spool is very wide and it wouldn't fit directly.

Dobry filament. Nie wymagał suszenia po otwarciu rolki nie wystąpiły żadne problemy w druku. Na profilu generic w bambulab drukuje sie bardzo dobrze. Polecam.

Filamento superlativo, sia per qualita' sia per il prezzo. Poi il JAYO con questo colore Matte Black, e' il migliore che ho utilizzato fino ad ora. da un'aspetto alle stampe fantastico, senza paragoni rispetto a tutti gli altri matte provati. Inoltre mai avuto problemi di imbobinatura , sempre perfetta e senza restrizioni o nodi , che piu' volte mi e' capitato di trovare con marche di livello troppo economico. Le spalle non sono in cartone ma in plastica rigida ed e' un vantaggio per chi come me le usa con ams
