This hammer throw is very nice for the price, the paint will chip as expected. Each hammer includes a wire and handle, I ordered an extra wire and handle not knowing if once came with this and it did. Can’t beat the price! I’ve seen similar hammers go for double the price without the wire or handle. Perfect for practice and a great place to start for beginners.

It's a hammer that makes length and weight. I would give it 5 stars if it would have went far enough to get me into the olympics.

Good for pratice

The diameter of the ball was significantly larger than expected. Wouldn't use for high quality competitions, but a great tool for practice.I had issues when ordering this about receiving a hammer that was not pictured. Instead of blue it came a bright orange-red, with a pointless thin draw string bad that is placed over the ball.Still made size and weight requirements at meets.

I like Amazon track and field implement so much that I recently purchased a 2,3,4,5,6 KG hammer and shot put. A 1.5, 1.0, and .75 KG discus. A 700,600,500, and 400 gram javelins. They were all donated to WIU for their USATF governed Senior Olympics and are great.

Received a hammer in a very large box with no packing. The hammer had pretty much destroyed the box. I noticed later it was 3.5 K rather than 3 K. I had to use it for practice, but it was disallowed for competition. I got off very poor throws with a borrowed hammer. I returned the hammer.
