I needed a hub (and this really is a USB hub, not a Thunderbolt dock) that comes with a separate cable so I can attach to my laptops when they are on a stand. The cable that comes with it is just about long enough - I will probably swap it for something longer. I purchased as 100W USB-C charger at the time. Points to note:- 100W in.- I'm guessing up to 85W out (didn't see a figure, but it charged my Thinkpad rapidly while I had it running in beast mode).- Ports as advertised.- Heat dissipation is great compared to the unit it replaces (didn't get at all hot while charging my Thinkpad).- The tiny display is useful.No issues so far.If I have a complaint, it would be that it a little expensive for what it is (just a small USB hub) at full price. I got a discount on this occasion. So, a decent little hub that looks cool.

I know USB hubs sound about as dull as sorting a bag of assorted screws by size and shape, but hear me out- this one's a beauty. This is a 6-in-1 hub that gives you a gigabit ethernet port, HDMI 4K output at 60 hertz, USB power delivery 3.0 at 100W, another USB-C output, and 2 a USB-A ports for all you 90s kids. The main feature is a 1.4 inch HD screen built in which displays all the peripherals connected and intelligently adjusts parameters to maximize compatability and throughput. It’s actually kind of mesmerising just watching all this stuff happen in real time. There is a single button which allows you to rotate the display with a double click or if you long press you can move through a menu system. The see-through windows look awesome. It’s a genuinely exquisite piece of engineering, well done Dockcase.

This product is arguably the best and most premium hub available on the market, the small form factor packs in all of the necessary ports and even allows power delivery. The information screen is an added bonus meaning you can clearly see exactly what is being detected by the hub and can ensure devices are being recognised as they should be.I am incredibly happy with this hub as it feels really nice in hand thanks to its metal construction, and looks great too with the window to the internals.The included 100W USB-C braided cable is also high quality and thick, meaning it won’t be damaged through use.All in all, a highly recommended purchase!

Finally a high quality aluminum hub that does not actually overheat while using it daily for about 12 hours.Used it for a whole month while traveling with both my corporate Dell 7400 and the personal M2 Mac and it did the job well connecting me to a 35 inch 4k monitor /32 inch TV, USB headphones, external keyboard and 1Gbps Lan connection.The workmanship is very good and when used, the hub only gets warm. I did not had any connection issues while in use but I would preferred to have seamless operation when you plug unplug the power delivery. This it may be a limitation that is not possible to overcome to get the plug and play detection.I tested it with different devices and the hub was able to detect them properly without any issues.Very useful information and highly customisable settings once you learn how to use the D key.Keep in mind that the vendor advice to plug first the hub to the device then attach the power delivery, however I found that is working either way. The hub works perfectly even with other cables presuming you have the right specs on them.Definitely my preferred hub now.

So I built myself a PC about a year ago and with my work on the horizon to replace my laptop with a Macbook, I thought it'd be quite handy to invest in a little travel dock that works with the USB C on my PC and also with the Macbook.I looked at a few, including a cheap little one I picked up a few years back for doing powered ethernet on, before I came across this one.I will admit I'm a bit of a techie for these sorts of things and really liked the idea of being able to use the screen to see the transmission speed live of the things I'm copying.Overall the dock seems pretty nice, it feels very premium with a grey anodised aluminium finish on the heat sink.It also has a glass screen on the top. Overall the design and build is very sleek, well thought out and makes the entire thing seem very professional.I did also look at the screen a fair bit too, I'm not sure I'm a huge fan of how you navigate, maybe I didn't look at the listing in enough detail but I genuinely thought it would be touchscreen.Instead there is a single button that you have to use and hold or press to navigate through the menus.I'll admit considering how sleek and modern the rest of the product is, this feels a throwback to the early 2000s mobiles.The screen content is really good though, not only can you see speed of transmission, you can see battery status of your laptop, if networking is being used across the dock, current and voltage, temperature of the dock etc.It's also handy because it tells you the exactly resolution of the screen you're using, this might not sound useful but for someone who does odd bits of software development with GUIs, it's very handy because I've started using this for all the screens I develop for, to tell the size without having to go find the datasheet or go looking through settings.It will also tell you if a device is usb2.0 or 3.0 which is handy too.It can identify and tell you the maximum transmission rate of the network via ethernet alongside your current which I think is a handy feature.Whilst I admit, I'm not sure I would pay the same £75 for this again to be honest, I do think that it's a nice little product even if the screen is a little gimmicky.The build quality of the dock and all the relevant connectors that it has are very useful. I expect I'll get into the habit of using this lots!The build quality of this product does have to be noted, it isn't just a cheap and tacky dock, it feels very premium and upmarket.

The media could not be loaded.  Incredible after sales support and customer service. This dock looks incredible but unfortunately mine has bugged where the dock randomly goes through as services of rebooting (there is no reason it structure to the reboots) I contacted dockcase and was offered a replacement or refund.Recommended!!

after 2 weeks it never turned back on, I replaced it with a 7 euro cable. better to buy this

ITADa subito colpisce il design di un prodotto apparentemente semplice come può essere un Hub USB-C, ma vi assicuro che fa anche benissimo quello che promette.Ottimo per chi ha un Macbook o un qualsiasi altro pc con uscita USB-C Thunderbolt e vuole creare una configurazione one-cable ma anche per console portatili o qualsiasi altro dispositivo a cui vogliate ampliare la connettività partendo da una semplice porta USB-C.C'è tutto l'indispensabile:1X HDMI fino 4k 60Hz, Gigabit Ethernet, 2X USB-A 5 GBPS, 1X USB- C 5GBPS Dati e la USB-C 100W per la ricaricaIl display è estremamente utile oltre che bello da vedere, avrete sotto controllo l'intero stato delle porte (velocità di trasferimento dati, corrente in entrata e uscita, velocità trasferimento dati ethernet), veramente un valore aggiunto!Presenta inoltre sul fondo una griglia di dissipazione calore, infatti non ho sentito mai un riscaldamento impegnativo dell'hub nemmeno sotto sforzo, e soprattutto mai visto un calo di prestazioni.Considerazioni finali:Super consigliato l'acquisto di questo hub, ne prenderò probabilmente un secondo per il mio iPad da tenere a portata di mano!Il prezzo è onesto per un prodotto costruito molto bene, con un design veramente futuristico e sopratutto veramente affidabile!ENGThe design of an apparently simple product such as a USB-C Hub is immediately striking, but I assure you that it also does what it promises very well.Excellent for those who have a Macbook or any other PC with USB-C Thunderbolt output and want to create a one-cable configuration but also for portable consoles or any other device to which you want to expand connectivity starting from a simple USB-C port.Everything you need is there:1X HDMI up to 4k 60Hz, Gigabit Ethernet, 2X USB-A 5 GBPS, 1X USB-C 5GBPS Data and USB-C 100W for chargingThe display is extremely useful as well as beautiful to look at, you will have the entire status of the ports under control (data transfer speed, incoming and outgoing current, Ethernet data transfer speed), truly an added value!It also has a heat dissipation grid on the bottom, in fact I have never felt the hub heating up even under load, and above all I have never seen a drop in performance.Final thoughts:The purchase of this hub is super recommended, I will probably get a second one for my iPad to keep handy!The price is honest for a very well built product, with a truly futuristic design and above all truly reliable!

J’aime énormément ce hub, j’ai changer 3 fois de hub sur 4ans, a cause de la prise usb c qui était directement fixer au hub qui finissait par lâcher, sur celui la le problème est régler, si le câble usb-c fini par lâché, il suffit de replacer le câble plutôt que le hubEn terme de qualité de fabrication, c’est surprenant le poids qu’il fait, ont sens bien la qualité du produit rien quand le prenant en main et les finitions sont impeccableEt le petit plus, c’est cet écran intégré qui affiche la charge, le transfert de données etc.Il fonctionne parfaitement sur mon iPad pour stage manager ou même mon MacBookJe vous le recommande vivement si vous voulez un produits de qualité assez unique en son genre

📌 C'è poco da dire, dobbiamo essere sinceri, i prodotti belli si pagano, ma valgono ogni euro speso.📦 Il packaging è molto minimale, infatti troviamo: hub, manualistica, cavetto tipo c da ambedue i lati, un pan termico per il disco NVME e due sigilli in plastica per tenere fermo il disco NVME una volta inserito.⛔ Le note dolenti sono sostanzialmente due: il sigillo per bloccare il disco è molto "scarno" e fragile, basta poco che si stacca e il disco regge velocità elevate fino al GB/s ma appena lavora ad alta velocità (come nel mio caso con una porta thunderbolt) tende a bloccarsi, questo non succede se la velocità invece è inferiore.🛎 Note positive: il prodotto funziona bene, è innovativo e la parte trasparente è geniale, ha molte funzioni tra cui porta di ricarica a 100W, lettore di SD, HDMI 4k60, ethernet e USB. Nato dolente? la porta di ricarica e condivisione thunderbolt è solamente di ricarica e non trasmette i dati, questo cosa significa? ebbene si, niente possibilità di usare un solo cavo per collegare e caricare il Macbook ad un eventuale Apple Studio Display, dopodichè il display è molto bello perchè fornisce le informazioni in tempo reale, per quanto non sia fondamentalmente necessario ma almeno è qualcosa di innovativo.💬 Considerazioni Finali: prodotto vincente, innovativo, costoso si ma il giusto, migliorabile, ma finalmente qualcosa di diverso dal solito.
