Great mat, great grip!
This is a beautiful mat that provides a lot of cushion for comfort and great grip for control. I use my mat for hot yoga and my hands did not slip on this mat the entire session: before and after the sweatiness, my hands and feet stay put. The mat has a good about of cushion and thickness so that was comfortable as well for my knees and palms. My only concern is cleaning. It’s almost a fabric material on top so I’m not sure how to properly clean all the sweat off when I’m done.

Lightweight and silky-soft
I have a heavy-duty mat I use for hot yoga, but it weighs eight pounds and I was looking for something lighter for travel. A classmate was using this mat; it was just so strikingly beautiful that it caught my attention, so I asked her about it after class. She was nice enough to let me handle the mat ("Excuse me, can I fondle your mat?" is a bit awkward. It's not the most cushiony mat I own, but it works just fine, especially in a hotel room where I am placing the mat on a rug. The mat is constructed of something called vegan suede, which sounds like an oxymoron. Whatever vegetables gave their lives for this product, it is greatly appreciated. The silky feel of the mat ads a spa-like aspect to my yoga practice on the road.Highly recommend.

Best Mat Ever!
Update: It has been several months and this mat is seriously the absolute best. I don't slip at all even during pilates when I get all sweaty. Highly recommend. For cleaning: do not use soap and water, I typically just spray it with disinfectant and maybe some essential oil mist. I don't usually drop anything besides water on it. For dirt, you can wipe it away with a very lightly damp towel or just brush it off.I love this mat. The material is soft and is grippy even when you sweat. It is a longer mat than normal mats. I love the colors and the ease of the strap that comes with the mat. I have had several foam mats before and each one rips after so long. This mat is also thick so if you do a lot of stuff on your knees or elbows it doesn't hurt on hard ground. This is best mat I've ever had and so glad I purchased it.

PERFECTION Used this mat over a year for nearly 200+ classes
CompositionThis is a closed-cell TPE foam yoga mat with a suede top layer. The suede means your movements are silent (no squeaking during class). The suede also soaks up sweat and provides the perfect grip. I have *never* slipped on this mat. It does *not* contain natural rubber or latex, which makes it great for people with allergies. The TPE foam makes it very lightweight and easy to carry to class.ComfortThe thickness of this mat is absolutely perfect. I've experienced knee pain with other mats, but the combination of the 5mm thickness and the cushy TPE foam gives it the perfect amount of support with cushioning. I can do all of my standing/balancing poses on this mat, and I can also comfortably rest on my knees in poses like pigeon.DurabilityI've been using this mat exclusively for over a year, and I've taken it to nearly 200 yoga classes, including power, hot, yin, hatha, and vinyasa flow classes. It is still in perfect condition. No tears, no flakes of foam falling off - it still looks brand new.Cleaning & CareIf I sweat during my workout, I take the mat home and leave it unrolled to allow it to air dry. This keeps it smelling fairly fresh for several weeks despite using it for hot yoga and sweating on it a lot.Roughly once a month, I take it outside, drizzle some dish soap on it, and use a soft scrub brush to clean it. Then, I spray the soap off with a garden hose and hang it outside to dry in the sun.I strongly recommend this mat to anyone, at any level of practice - beginner to advanced. I've tried a lot of mats, including very expensive "professional" mats and cork mats, and this is the only one I will continue to use and recommend to fellow yogis.

I LOVE this yoga mat - pros and cons listed below
I've owned this yoga mat for a year and just purchased a new one, so I thought I'd write a review on my past year with this mat!Pros:-Great thickness -This mat was the perfect thickness to protect my knees but it was not so thick that it was bulky or got in my way. I try a lot of arm balances and this mat had enough cushion to make me feel safe to try things because I knew if I fell, I had a soft landing-Great grip -This mat does not slip and I do not slip on this mat. It's super important to me that the mat doesn't move around, and this one never did the entire year I owned it. It doesn't matter how sweaty you get, the suede on the top keeps you from sliding around.-Lightweight -It's super lightweight!-It's pretty -I'd be lying if I told you that wasn't a deciding factor as to why I bought it. I love the pattern and it makes me happy to look at it when I practice.Cons:-It has a bit of a smell (no matter what you do) - It came out of the box with a bit of a chemical smell. It's really not bad, but it is there. No amount of mat wipes, gym wipes, essential oils, etc would get rid of it.-Hard to clean -I don't care what they tell you, this mat is hard to clean. I'm diligent about wiping down my mat after every single practice, but since it's suede on top, it will eventually get gross. Mine lasted a full calendar year of me going to yoga class 2-3x a week consistently before I decided it was time for a new one. It was worth it for me, but you might feel differently!-Not as durable as other brands -The mat stayed intact and fine the entire year. The foam was just as good as the day I bought it, however, the suede lining on top started to detach from the mat. It's only along the edges and didn't bother me, but it did start to look worn at the end.Overall, I love this mat. I think it's definitely worth the price and even though I retired mine after a year, I did feel like I got my money's worth out of it and I really enjoyed this mat. Hope this helps!

Better than expected!
I love how light this mat is. It definitely isn't a typical yoga mat, but the quality is great! The more sweaty you get, the more sticky it becomes. My hands don't slip and the cushioning feels lovely all over. Worth the buy for sure

Quality!
Pop flex products may not be cheap, but they more than make up for it with quality. This mat is super light, and thin, but still manages to be cushiony and comfortable.

Meh…
I fell into the Popflex hype and wanted to try these mats out. The mat is way lighter than I expected, and is basically a piece of very expensive foam. It’s not terrible which is why I’ll keep it as it’s not worth my time to return it but I am disappointed. I was expecting a heavy weight high quality mat, and got foam. Not worth the money.
