OK, let's address the Elephant in the Room - There is NO S-View Function it this one!Of course if you READ everything VERY CAREFULLY in the Description you MIGHT GUESS that it does NOT have this function because it says that "...you CAN NOT operate the phone without opening the cover" which Kind of IMPLIES that it is not S-View... but it does not say it Explicitly and You pretty Much CAN NOT operate your phone even when you have S-View... at least not operate it completely.So why I thought it was S-View?Well, I searched for S-View Kick-stand Cover for S7 edge and it gave me the search result that said it had S-View but I could not directly buy from them and had to follow to the link "buy from these sellers" which brought me here. So I kind of expected this product to be same as the S8 cover which I purchased for my brother.... Turned out it is not.Now, one could say that the product description does not say it is S-View and my wrong expectation is my mistake and not sellers problem...Well here is the thing - On pictures it looks EXACTLY like the S-View Kick-stand Cover for S8. Especially the part where you can see the Clock seen Very clearly Through the Cover.... And even if Description says "Clear View" it is not even nearly as Clear as it is shown on pictures - such clarity is achieved only with S-View Function.... So, YES the Pictures and the Description is Still a LieFinal Point - Instead of the normal round area on the inside that activates S-View function for S-View Covers this one has a metal thing glued to that place in a rather cheap way... So this cover was intended as S-View cover!And I thought it simply did not work... However, I recently found another seller "ToneDo" that has exactly same product and in the description they provide a guide how you can activate the S-View function - You have to download some App and go through a VERY COMPLICATED installation and setting process (instructions of which are btw on CHINESE!!! so good luck with it).... to start the installation you have to snapshot the QR code that comes with your product.... Only, mine Did NOT come with Any :D :D :D

I ordered this for a galaxy s7 u didn't open it right away because I was using a different case that I liked. When I opened it. It was for a galaxy s7 edge which the edge is a lot bigger than the s7.

The fact I can see through the case but less than I month the case is falling apart piece by piece that now I can't use it any more. Poor quality and I'll be sending it back.

The case was not what it shows. It's just a case for the Samsung Edge...it does not display "Time or Date" on the case...very disappointed.

Day one: coool! Day two: man this gets dirty quickly.. day three: oh no every little piece of dirt or debris is sandwiched in between my screen and this cover grinding the nice screen protector to bits. Day four: oooooop there goes a chunk o corner of the case... day five: back on amazon shopping for a new case

Tried it on my phone when It was delivered.. not what I was expecting. Didn't work for me at all. Threw it away. Would not suggest it to anyone
