I have severe arachnophobia and this summer has been living hell for me a with a bunch of spiders deciding to waltz on into the house. Trust me when I say these things work - they managed to snatch the biggest house spider I’ve ever seen. Granted he’s only half in the picture but my husband put it out of its misery the second he was home from work, but I cannot fault the quality at all. Does exactly what it’s meant to, and the traps are easy to build and put together. These are now in every single room in the house — and I will be buying more asap. If you have arachnophobia and can’t even bare the thought of getting a cup and paper, or even remotely getting to close to the little monsters, this is ideal. ( it’s also great for gnats too but I mostly got these for the eight legged freaks )

Amazing product works absolutely perfect. I only used one the first night as a trial because I was unsure if the trap would work. When I went to check the trap the next morning I was surprised to find a huge spider caught. I reccomended this product if like myself you have a fear of spiders but don't want to spay any chemicals around your house that could hurt pets. Simple and easy to set up and I plan on placing more around the house especially with all the giant house spiders at this time of year.

The four stars are because the traps that are visible keep coming open and are a sticky nightmare to try and put back together and they reopen again each time I manage to get them closed again. I’m not sure if the hidden ones have remained closed I’m too scared to check. They are good value for money though with how many you get. Edit 21/10/24 The one by my curtain in the front room pinged open again today. There was three spiders in it phew! I’m soooooo relieved they didn’t come near me but as I’m terrified of them I was shaking trying to close the trap again but I managed to close it and stick some tape on the trap (why I hadn’t thought of that before I do not know) I would recommend these as they definitely catch spiders but I would recommend putting some tape on the trap to keep them closed at the beginning ( hopefully that’ll do the trick)

I have lost all of my credibility with the local spiders after using this. Getting it setup is a pain and it doesn't stick very well, you can't mount it close to where the spiders are on the wall. I setup 5 of them and it caught nothing. I watched one spider walk over the thing and was completely un-phased. I then threw my shoe at the spider, which it caught and threw back at me, calling me words I can't repeat here. Needless to say I now couch-surf on my own sofa and the spiders go about the house as they please. Luckily they can't open doors yet, but a few times I heard the handle turn. Send help.

Ohh what can I say! Firstly I'm afraid of big spiders, baby ones I can cope with but when mummy or daddy spiders make an appearance oh my goodness I just c☆☆p my pants! So upon discovering the granda spider out for a stroll up my curtain with his big flippen legs I near passed out, after getting Mr indoors to dispose of him to another demention I preceded to search Amazon for something to handle this family of invaders, these sticky things seemed like an idea, put your hairy toe on there and you'll not be taking it off! They arrived quickly and as quick as they fell through the letter box I had them on the floor, in corners, under tables, in bedroom, behind doors, I kept mine flat as I thought they wont miss it, so I left them be, just looking at them every 5 mins to see if any appeared but nope they wernt coming out, off to bed we go and next morning guess wot! ...... good guess ... absolutely nothing, I was thinking these things are more clever than we know lol, so disappointed I continued on with life only to come home and find Granda spider and granny spider caught on the sticky traps, I was freaked out but held my own against the building panic attack within me, couldn't believe my luck, the traps done their job, but the only down side is when your cat comes running squealing trough the house with one stuck to its tail and me thinking theres a flipping tarantula attached it well it's not good for your heart or for your cat, so be careful where u place them • a great buy • they do catch spiders and other things • not overly big • I'd recommend

I've been using this brand of trap for a few years now, but they must have changed since I last bought them, because they didn't have pheromones before. Previously they worked amazingly, great at trapping even massive spiders. I used the last of my previous batch recently and I came to find it moved away from the wall because the massive spider inside had tried to pull away so hard and been unable to. And that was with no smell, just placed in the sections I normally have them. I just received the new batch and I was hit with the most god AWFUL smell when I opened the packaging. It used to arrive in a large paper envelope and now they've moved to plastic no doubt to keep said smell in. These are now unusable for me and money wasted. I have 5 traps in my living room during the peak spider season and I won't be able to stand having this smell. That's the reason for the reduction in stars. There was no need to add the pheromones because they worked brilliantly before. I might actually have to throw these out now because the smell is so horrible

The product worked very well. I put the traps in some hot spots around my house. The traps caught so many silver fishes, tiny spiders & other crawling insects. The product is easy to use & discard.

Funciona, he puesto 1 por habitación.....en 24 horas ha caido una araña y 2 bichitos tan pequeños que no sé lo que son. Lo compré con cierta incredulidad ya que no había opiniones pero arriesgue ya que tengo una vivienda sin habitar aún y cada vez que voy, encuentro siempre alguna araña. Mi sorpresa ha sido comptobar que ha funcionando en las primeras 24 horas.

Absolutely useless. Been in my house for months, nothing came to it. Waste of money I'm afraid.
