Not great quality
I usually take an 8.5 Keen shoe so was surprised when the initial pair I received in an 8.5 were a bit small. I reordered a 9 and they were perfect. The shoe is very comfortable in both width and length and the quality is good too. The grip on wet rock is good and so far they haven’t leaked. Looking forward to doing a long walk in them to really test them. I've had these for 2 years now and walked 150 miles in them. The rubber 'bellows' in front of the laces has now split on both shoes and whilst the waterproof liner initially keeps your feet dry after a while your feet get wet. I have looked after these shoes after every walk so was disappointed when they split especially as the split when I was in the middle of a five day trek. Usually Keen shoes are robust however this rubber part is a gimmick that does not work. I would avoid these at all costs!

Absolutely love these
Great walking boots. Really comfortable. Fully waterproof. Lasting well. I walk between 3-6 miles pretty much every day. I've also been training at bootcamp for three sessions per week and I wear them for that too. Excellent quality and highly recommended. For me, the key was to have a boot that was fully waterproof - and these really deliver!

Great .
Love my Keen footwear, have a few pairs... sturdy supportive for ankle, arch and toes. Fit is roomy especially in toe box area which I am a big fan of...my mother used to say " can you wiggle your toes" when I tried on shoes as a kid. I am now 67, and she long dead, but this is still the way to test out footwear !!! Keen pass the test every time... unlike most other brands. Ridging on top of arch area does look different to others but it's not offensive.

very disappointing
I have used Keen walking shoes for many years. Normally they wear out, and are replaced. I purchased these in august 2022 and they now leak. As you can see (from the pictures) they are not warn out. The glue has come unstuck, resulting in the shoes leaking and waterlogged socks. I have never had this trouble before with Keen, and I am super disappointed. Due to it being just over a year I cannot return them. You do not expect to have wet feet from waterproof shoes. Be warned, your new shoes may not last.

warm and comfortable
These run large. I'm usually a size 4.5-5 but I bought the size 4 and I can wear them with my very thick woolly socks without feeling squashed in.

Tricky to avoid rubbing due to material fold by the tongue
Overall a good shoe but the material fold by the tongue can dig in and rub if the laces are tied too tight Not sure why Keen designed it like this as it would be so easy to avoid - so not 5 stars but as these were my 4th purchase (returning the others) to find a comfortable shoe I decided to live with them!

Very comfortable and no blisters
Bought these for walking around the Isle of Man. Soles are well padded and the grip was good even on loose, uneven ground. Gave very good support for my feet and kept them dry. Very happy with my purchase.

Comfort Meets Durability in These KEEN Hiking Boots
Comfort Meets Durability in These KEEN Hiking Boots I’ve put these KEEN Ridge Flex Low Waterproof Hiking Boots through a few long hikes now, and they’ve really impressed me. Right out of the box they felt solid yet comfortable, with that typical KEEN roomy toe box that gives your feet space to spread out on uneven terrain. The flex at the forefoot is noticeable – it really does make a difference on longer hikes by reducing stiffness when climbing or descending. The waterproofing held up well on damp trails and shallow stream crossings, and I didn’t feel any moisture creeping in. Traction is excellent; the outsole grips well on both rocky paths and softer dirt trails, giving a sense of confidence even on trickier ground. I also like that the low height offers ankle freedom without losing stability, which makes them versatile for day hikes and weekend adventures. One thing to note is that these run a touch heavier than some lightweight trail shoes, but the tradeoff is the added support and rugged durability. Break-in time was minimal, though I’d still recommend wearing them around the house before a long hike. Bottom line: A well-built, comfortable, and waterproof hiking boot that blends stability with flexibility—perfect for hikers who want a durable trail companion without sacrificing comfort.

well made sturdy hiking shoes
Well made, fits well, and walk comfortably. Good grip as well. I had a chance to walk in heavy rain for about 30 minutes and no water got into the shoes.

Great Low Hikers! Comfortable and Supportive
I bought these to augment my Keen Hiking boots. They are sneaker like and give my feet great support. These are not light like a sneaker but they look like a sneaker and are built to take a beating. They have plenty of room in them, no need for a wide, and they are true to size.
