Useful for warfare.
Guerrilla Warfare is a book that aims to provide a comprehensive and balanced exploration of the subject of irregular warfare, from its historical origins to its contemporary applications. The author, Roger E. Hamilton, is a former U.S. military officer. He draws on his personal knowledge, as well as the lessons learned from various historical examples, to present a thorough and insightful analysis of the tactics, techniques, and strategies employed by guerrilla fighters throughout history.

No actual information.
This book is basically a list of bullet points. It says very vague things about very obvious topics…I feel like there is absolute zero substance to this book, perhaps I’m wrong… this book is fur coat and no knickers… looks the part but might aswel not have any writing inside…Infact to summarise, I read the book within an hour or two… me and my partner lay in bed laughing at how the author would make a statement and then just vaguely repeat the statement in different words a few times… no actual tactics, no actual instructions for what to do in the event that chaos is happening around you…This book was a complete waste of money…What a shambles.

informative guide!
The book covers a wide range of topics related to guerrilla warfare, such as the definition and characteristics of irregular warfare, the evolution of strategy and tactics over time, the art of camouflage, concealment, and evasion, the challenges and complexities of urban insurgency, the effective methods for organizing and leading guerrilla units, and the ethical considerations involved in unconventional warfare. Recommend!

Thorough and on point
As someone not so familiar with this area, I have found this book really thorough and really on point, whilst I’ve enjoyed the simplicity in explaining it’s complicated topics. I would recommend it.

GRADE SCHOOL PUBLICATION
This book reads like it was written for junior scholastics. The text is so bare minimum that I was immediately put off by its simplicity and its overview-type approach. The title is very misleading and gives the potential buyer the misdirection that this is the only book you'll ever need on Guerilla Warfare, since it's the "complete guide to tactics, techniques, and strategies." However, you will find no complex renderings of asymmetric warfare but instead you will find the same generalizations to conclude each chapter, such as "the rewards of Offensive Guerilla Warfare can be significant." Do not be fooled by the cool photos on the front cover, because there is nothing in the book that delves into properly deploying drones for say counter-surveillance or emplacing anti-personnel mines to cause maximum damages to enemy platoons. There are no secret strategies to learn by reading this book, but rather over-simplified generalizations with outdated examples that are drawn from America's wars in Vietnam and Iraq.

interesting read!
I got this book because I thought the title was interesting. I was not disappointed the entire book kept my attention and I don't know if I will ever use what I learned it was fun to read.
