Simple to use, and very very loud. Great and very cheap.
Fantastic. Its so loud it hurts my ears. Simply pull the pin (with the nylon woven strap on) out, and to stop it, push it back in. Either operation is easy to do, but of course if attacked you would hold the pin, and the attacker would not. I want it to frighten off attacking dogs. I can well believe the claims that it will do that effectively. I think I will tie some nylon cord to the strap on the pin, and attach the other end to my belt with a spring clip, so I do not lose the pin. I think keeping it in a pocket inside a small cushioned camera case would ensure that the pin was not pulled by accident: you could leave it unzipped, provided the open end was upwards. Alternatively, wrap a thick rubber band around the device so the pin and strap are held close against it. Then only a very sharp pull will set the alarm off.

Very loud
These alarms are super loud. The door exactly what it says on the box. I would recommend these two friends and family I purchased one for my friend as well.

Great shed alarm. Better at scaring the neighbours.
Donโt wast money on an expensive shed alarm. This couple with two nails with do the job perfectly. That is assuming you remember it is attached to the door. Me, I just throw the door open ever time and spend the next minute trying to insert the little peg back in while blinded by immense ear piercing noise. I was thinking of putting a reminder on the door but I think that will only Benifit billy burglar. On the upside it gives you a warm fuzzy feeling inside when the neighbours come out to make sure you are ok.... they do care after all.... well the first few times. On number 25 I think they started to believe I was attention seeking. Worth the couple of quid it cost... need a better memory to improve it.

Does the Job
I purchased 2 of these for a Friend as a result of reading the Reviews. On testing them I was very impressed with the loud sound that they emit, which in am sure would act as a deterrent. They are compact and seem quite robust. The Key Ring chain maybe a little flimsy, but otherwise a good purchase and would buy again.

Extremely loud peace of mind personal alarm.
I suffered a stroke in Oct. 2015 and wanted some way of attracting some-ones attention when I'm out and about if in the likely event it ever happens again. This little alarm goes everywhere with me now and it is extremely loud ! A simple pull on the cord and it's activated. It is so loud that no-one could really dismiss the fact that something is wrong somewhere thus bringing their attention to me. In my wallet and on the cover of a small note book in my pocket the words โAcute Stroke 31st Oct 2015โ are clearly visible should anything happen again. If it does, I hope someone will come across my wallet or note book for identification purposes and seeing these words take the appropriate emergency action. Even if that โsomeoneโ was just stealing my wallet at least I would still hopefully stand a chance of them taking the appropriate emergency action. I would definitely recommend this small, very inexpensive peace of mind personal alarm to anyone in a similar situation as myself. On my recommendation my neighbour now has one and also carries hers with her everywhere. Again a definite recommendation to everyone. Thank you Eposgear. I do sincerely hope this helps others. Very loud alarms
Yes these are very loud, I pulled the pin to check it worked (as you do) and was instantly deafened. They are decent quality and certainly value for money. I bought 4, one I keep with me at all times, the others are fitted inside our sheds and will go off if anyone so much as sneezes in the vacinity of them :) I would definitely recommend them to otther buyers, as a personal alarm or as an additional alarm for your shed or outhouse, the fitting of which is very simple and effective.

Dodgy product
Shocking behaviour from a device!! Wouldnโt work when it arrived in the middle of the day so arranged a return and left it on the table. Middle of the night out of nowhere a horrendous sound pierced our ears, searched the house wondering what on earth was happening, only to discover this alarm had set itself off on the table by itself and refused to stop for 15 minutes, by which time the ringing in our ears was set in and lasted for the rest of the night. No further sleep was had due to the aftershocks of anxiety from this horrendous middle of the night disturbance. So if it was ever needed in an emergency youโd be rest assured it would sound the alarm approximately 12 hours later. Great.

Good, loud
Unsure how much I like this but haven't owned any others to compare it to. It works, it's lightweight and its loud- it shocked me for a few seconds when I tested it even though I was expecting a loud noise. I think it could give you a few seconds to get away from an attacker definitely. The keyring is useful but I wouldn't want it on my keys because 1. my bunch of keys are already bulky and so is this alarm fob. 2. my keys are not always easy to access (in the bottom of my bag/zipped pocket etc.) 3. Ideally I need to keep my hands free so carrying the fob in hand isn't really a practical option. The easiest way to use it would be to put your belt/bag strap and just give the alarm a good tug to release the pin if needed (that way you wont accidently drop the pin like I did when I tested it which is a bonus). This is probably a more sensible approach to using it rather than as a keyring if you don't want to carry it in your hands. I do a lot of evening dog walking though and fear I may accidently set it off though if it catches on leads or something. Good item but I'm just not sure how practical for my situation it's going to be to keep it ready for use.

what a fantastic safety device for everyone in your family
What a fantastic device. What I love is it is loud and that the pin has to be purposefully pulled out. It won't slip out. Also, to stop the noise, you just put the pin back in. The red looking button is not actually a button and I can not find what purpose it holds. You pull the black cord and it sends out the noise. This is great for backpacks, key rings and you can even set them up for doors and windows is you wanted to get creative. I think that this makes great gifts for any person in your family. A bag guy does not want to get caught and if they go after your loved one and they pull that black cord, the bad guy will run off. Took about 3 weeks to get here. Great deal for the price as well.

Loud :|
I bought this to be used as an audible door alarm for my backyard studio (a shed that I've converted). What I've done is attach the ring on the alarm to a hook beside the door and then I loop the alarm-pull peg to a hook in the door. If someone were to drill/pry the lock and open the door it would pull the pin and set off the alarm. But "What about the thief's ability to grab something and run" you ask? Well I thought about that too. I also installed a chain lock that allows enough space so that I can attach it with the door open, as well as long enough to still pull the pin if some scumbag tries to open it. So what happens is the thief drills/pries the lock and tries to open the door, he/she is stopped by the chain lock but sets off the incredibly loud alarm. Causing the perp to scatter like a cockroach. It's a very simple yet effective alarm system that costs next to nothing. And it is loud...as in damage your hearing loud if you spend too much time near it while it's going off. Yes, I am awesome :|

Super loud, compact easy to use design
This device is super loud, almost hurts the ears inside and when entrusting it as a gift for my wife and mother, I'm confident it'll be heard should anything happen to them. The device is super easy to use, pull the lanyard out of the device and it starts screaming, and can only be shut off by replacing the lanyard component. This is a great design because an attacker be hard pressed trying to find a tiny little lanyard key, then inserting it into the small hole of this device, all the while trying to subdue their victim, a task which an attacker would know is futile within seconds and more than likely give up their attack because attacker want easy defenseless victims.
